I just hate the fact that Burberry mass produces their goods from China, Turkey, etc. Cant they just stay in U.K and Italy? I'd rather pay extra 40% than getting Made in China :(

Even before TIm Blanks dropped the name Virginia Woolf, that was the name that ran through my mind. Those long, flimsy maxi dresses with large coats over top are evocative of Woolf and Mansfield, & that era (particularly in British design history). A very pleasant collection.. I like the hems of dresses fluttering against ankles. And I find English men always look so young... like the faces of boys. The English have an interesting and wonderful approach to aesthetics (love their interior design)

I agree that this one is not the MOST inspired collection, but then again Christopher did the 'now so popular' fabulous rock-chic theme some seasons ago (PERFECTION). All in all, I have every confidence that the talented mr Bailey is able to lead Burberry to the hights that Lagerfeld has led Chanel! The whole concept of Burberry as a brand of 'British cool' is wonderful - would love to be a Burberry girl myself :)

Excatly, that is what I admire about Christopher Bailey, he is giving Burberry really a concept, altough i'm not so sure about Burberry reaching the heights of Chanel.

Not the most FABULOUS collection from Burberry, but still quite fashionable in its own way. I LOVE those coats!
