crisis core was the first FF game i had ever played. that game for my psp is now my baby, i am so protective of it. lol god i think ive played that game more then 20 time on normal and hard and beaten it on every turn.

Also, people used weapons as gravemakers all the time. Including for instance, ZACK in Before Crisis. For the two SOLDIER First Class buddies of his. Why on Earth you are blaming Cloud for the fact that years after he and Zack were shown abusing the Buster Sword in several titles, Angeal was introduced is beyond me.

Why couldn't they switch Cloud and Zack in each respective games? I mean, I don't give a little remorse if Cloud had died in Crisis Core; but they HAD to kill off Zack.

@EphemeralVictory They really didn't have to kill of Zack considering Cloud was developed way before Zack as a character. Zack was just created as a background character for Cloud's story. None of his accomplishments were invented until Last Order the anime. For some reason Last Order isn't cannon but the end of Crisis Core is stolen from Last Order pretty much. If FF7 wasn't as popular as it was they would have never franchised it into so many spin-offs. Unlike the other Final Fantasies

@EphemeralVictory I mean I think they killed Zack off just so people wouldn't wonder why they're ins't a Cloud clone Companion. But people were curious about Zack. And then they made a non-cannon anime using a scenario that one of the FF7 writers, the one who solo wrote crisis core had made about Zack. This same writer and this same scenario is also the basis of Crisis Core's story. They really retconned what happened. Because in FF7 don't they keep shooting his dead body lol?

I remember fighting the boss version of Genesis, awesome... Sadly I was such a noob, I couldn't even understand english back then... Problem was that I had Cursed Ring from my 1st level, and i had no idea it will disable my MDW. Right, I was like "How did he do that?" when I saw gameplay video with MDW usage included. So I finished THE GAME on 1st level, luckily I have made materia (Libra I think) with +380% HP, so that helped me pretty much :P

Maybe I'll play it again, but now I have FF 1-9, slowly working FF10, Tactics, Dissidia, Dissidia 012 duodecim so I have no idea when will I have the time :D (Final Fantasy are almost only ones i paid for) But thanks for reminding me, I remember I was studying it into details, but I couldn't remember the name >.< That's more than weird O.o

@axlman1293 well...you gotta beat all of the uhm missions where you have to fight hojo's experiments and Minerva is the last one which I beat in 2 tries because the first time I had the wrong materia equipped and I didn't have the genji gloves which were the last thing I needed

No. He saved Cloud from the Shinra Mansion and left for Midgar where he was then killed by an entire army of peons. Angeal pulled Zack's spirit up and the game ended.

@FF7Niteblade Zack did have J-cell in him but cuz he was in soldier and Cloud wusnt they didnt have much of an effect on him, Hollender says it after a Genesis clone eats some of Zacks hair, then Hollender goes after Cloud since Sephiroth is dead making cloud the only source of pure J-cells left in the world. At least they thought he was. and leave Cloud alone, its not his foult if Hojo mind fucked him. They are both cool in their own way. And Zack never beat Sephiroth. Did you even play FF7CC?

I have a 100% complete CC game tyvm. I KNOW what happened. Cloud is by far the most worthless character in CC. I give him credit though, he's not an emo douche in CC like he is in all the other games. I should probably also throw in that Cloud never really did ANYTHING to help Zack AT ALL. Cloud took the Buster Sword and dragged it away, only to many years later let it rust into a giant piece of shit at the spot Zack was killed. That's exactly what I want my "best friend" to do!

@FF7Niteblade wo just calm dow for a sec im not trying to argu just correct you so you dont start going round spreading bad infomation, Cloud ends up cleaning to buster sword and putting it in aeriths church next to her flowers. he didnt take the buster sword Zack gave it to him, he only just snapped out of his coma state when he got the buster sword, now think about if you didnt move a muscel for four years would you be stronge enough to carry the buster sword right away? he isnt emo in FF7.

EVENTUALLY he puts it in the church. It should have been there to begin with, not on a remote cliff outside Midgar. Anyone could have taken it, and as for the cleaning the rust away.. If he was really a friend he'd have known Zack kept it free of rust and only used it out or respect for his mentor Angeal. He went on enough missions with Zack to know that and it's bullshit no matter what you say. As for FF7, yeah he is. All he does is bitch about how he can't save anyone/anything.
