  • regular, pero me gusta mucho Mother..

  • Levon Helm, Garth Hudson, Rick Danko, and of course Roger Waters... holy fuck

  • AS Goldman Sachs and other world wide banking criminal syndicates enslave us by making loans to countries they can never pay we don't fight back. As Nations collude with arms dealers from Brussels, to Dallas, we calmly sit and watch as they destroy our lives and planet and do not fight back. It's long past time to dismantle the corrupt governments and banking system and start over world wide revolution. Just ignoring and not actively fighting aint gona do it. It's fight or be anihilated

  • this tune rocks and sends a great message to all

  • this tune rocks and sends a gret message to all

  • I still have my VHS copy of the concert when it hit the store shelves. Also have a Live in Berlin Roger Waters T shirt that I try not to wear for fear of something happening to it. I love the album, but this live rendition with other musicians is phenominal.

  • grande sinead o^connor gran cantante de lo 90

  • @cristianalfonso335

She was the most shameful part of the show. It is the ilk of Skinhead O'connor and her hatred for people and God that erected that infernal wall in the first place.

  • Dear friend, WATCH THIS IS WORTH THE MONEY LIFE EXPECTINNCY IS SHORT, tHANK YOU, MY bUDDY

  • pink floyd is a genius

  • rick danko, levon helm and the doc.....come on man.......sinead should have been honored............

  • in my opinion, this is why they broke up.....waters saw this vision, which is a total vision of himself. the rest wanted to be more of a band, and they did, and he did this...very impressive.............................

  • A country divided by two different superpowers could come together then, but Pink Floyd couldn't.

And yes, I did just compare the split with the Cold War. :P

  • I cannot believe I just read that "David Gilmour is just "a nickel and dime guitar player."

Possibly the most pathetic statement I've ever heard.

  • Many thanks to sound engineer Gary Bradshaw, who let the circuit breakers blow during the performance of Sinead O'Connor for making this concert to an unforgetable succes!

  • I'm a HUGE Floyd fan.. Waters is the bomb I actually enjoy it when Gilmour isn't trying to do the whole damn thing himself. at least Waters collaborates with other musicians who fit the profile per song. Waters has the floyd voice, I do love David but he is just a nickel and dime guitar player if you ask me Wright and Waters' bass lines are what make Floyd stand out.

  • u forgot pulse and devision bells al made by floyd the wole band in amazing

stop hating plz why this was the last good music of the 80 and 90s

  • Where the fxxk is Dave???

  • @acerbicvoice How did you know her??? It´s unbelievable!!!!

  • I love this show and I love Sinead! In Argentina we love good music too!

  • Thanks for this, going to see Waters in June and can't wait, the original Floyd may be gone but instead of arguing the toss why not just accept we all have something in common here and enjoy the fuckin concert for what it was...awesome, with or without Rick and David.

  • Oh no NOT HER!!

  • hahahahhahahahahahhahahhhahahhahahah

  • Respond to this video... PS: I'd rather be kinda dumb than like you, wholly and completely stupid.

  • @acerbicvoice When were you born? Yesterday? Most probably after 1989.

  • @acerbicvoice Like I sed, squib, a Roger production. Whole damn thing was Roger until He fired Ricky and David rebelled during the 78-79-80 recording sessions. By the time of Berlin what did Roger have? Nothin 'ceptin Nick. It is NOT Floyd. It is Roger, and obviously, derp, he could not play all the parts himself live. Jeezus do they teach you twinks anything in school today. NO! Wait! We don't NEED no ed-u-cation! Tune into Radio KAOS and call yo' mama in the morning. dwep.

  • is The Wall concert in Berlin, wall larger than the one 2010 concert one Roger Waters is doing now?

  • anyone can tell me, which songs are those?

  • @brianfer123 Mother and Goodbye blue sky,

  • YES!

  • Sorry ducks but I still cry when a listen this version of The Wall ... This tour The Wall 2010 is rich in effects of High tecnology but poor in the musically sense Sounds like a fussion of HTecnology and original version with out original musicians

  • one of my top 3 favorite solos from the wall

  • good performance but I agree not Pink Floyd and I would like to see O'connor with hair

  • As good as it gets. The best concert ever.

  • As good as it gets.

  • I recall spending a day trying to get a flight out to Berlin for this with no luck.

    Ausgezeichnet!

  • what is with all these guests...that chick singing goodbye blue sky SUCKS...she totally ruined the awesome song

  • this stinks

  • I doubt if floyd could even do it better! this is epic!

  • Senead o connor needs to get outa here. this is roger waters not gay

  • I'm going to see this show in Montreal in october . The ticket was a gift From a friend that told me i HAVE to see this.... I saw The Floyd in the 80's. And since Gilmour ...That's just not Floyd................. I will go.I will enjoy Watters... But just not the same... That feeling...that voice...that guitar............. Just too bad....

  • Roger Waters in bringing this to toronto Sept 18 2010,

    Can't wait

look for me I'll be the one with the cloud around me lol

  • I love pink floyd but to be honest it is not the same with out gilmour, wright, and mason i no it hurts some of u out there but this version sucks, sry but am being honest

  • These idiots are singing theyr own guilty.

They drive cars, major cars, they use major resources from the planet.

Most of these people don't feel the planet round and round.

They think that they gone change anything in politics but they are sing what they loose in democracy.

This guys in Politics will be worst than Stalin or Hitler, Pol Pot or European Comunity.

Imperialism was ever the goal of Pink Floyd.

    That's why they really sucks.

  • @adevezar Goodbye Blue Sky. Al Gore does the same thing, preaches against Global Warming and how we have to reduce our Global CO2 Footprint and he uses private jets himself and Former Vice President Al Gore and his wife, Tipper, have added a Montecito-area property to their real estate holdings, reports the Montecito Journal.

  • @adevezar they really sucks? amazing grammar there my friend. youre stupid nation is probably wasting 10 times the resources the waste. so you better shut your dirty mouth before i whoop your ass

  • @adevezar You Suck!!!

  • The Wall is what idiots do when they recognize themselves as alls, or isiots.

  • @adevezar IDIOT!

  • WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?!

  • Just a little friendly badgering. . .of course this is Roger Waters solo, and an amazing group of other people doing some great work.

  • Wait a second, hey Anselcat so you're tellin' me that 'the Band' wasn't referring to Pink Floyd all along? Dude I'm so lost right now!

  • Hey thanks Anselcat! I got so confused! I thought the Scorpions and Sinead O'Connor were in Pink Floyd from way back in the Syd days. Dang! My bad. Thanks so much for clearing that up for everyone!!

  • thie is nice

  • Berlin...perfect plase for this concert...

Always choose perfect place for a concert...

and like other one for Pompeii

  • i was there in 1990... almost 20 years ago already... geez.

  • barbershop trio for the chorus of mother = EPIC WIN

  • Who else could put Sineade, The Hooters, and The Band Together on one stage, and one song, and make it sound this perfect? ROGER !!!!

    Just awesome.

  • so much emotion from Sinead...lacking these days....so much manufactured crap..

  • agree 100% music today is recycled garbage!

Best music imo still comes from the isles. And i'm an American.

something needs to happen to mainstream music. a complete implosion or something. because mainstream rock is a like waking up to a bad case of diarrea.

  • LOL she didnt perform live as her ego is bigger than her bald head. This is a rehearsal

  • I love how Roger Waters is watching her and smiling, like he enjoys how she's singing his song

  • "mother" - The wall 1979

  • "mother" originalmente lanzada en "the wall" 1979

  • this show was the best,,i love how they all came together for a cause.........bunch of great artist everyone unique in there own way just like all of us.

  • Dovrebbero essere presi da esempio, uno dei migliori gruppi musicali del mondo, che ha insegnato a tanti cos'è la musica , altro che pop, dance e altre stronzate che sono state create dalla tecnologia !! PINK FLOYD FOREVER

  • cherry FROM PHILIPPINES

This is one of my favorite song by the pink floyd, I LOVE YOU GUYS!! MORE POWER.

  • Dave, Nick, and RIck were willing to play with Roger in Berlin after Roger stated in an interview that he might late Dave play guitar, but when Dave said he and the rest of the band would be willing to play Roger said, and i quote "I don't know where Dave got that idea"

  • Dude, nobody LETS David Gilmour play guitar

  • (Y)

  • VIVA Pink floyd Queen Rammstein War Guns n Roses Nirvana Genesis por siempre el Rock y el Metal

  • viva old times

  • Nice to see Rick Danko and Levon Helm!!

  • this was dubbed, at the gig the sounds fucked up, a few parts were dubbed after the show :O((

  • I love the fact some sad old fuck has given a thumbs down lol, this was not live it was the rehearsal, some facts are just too painful i guess ;O))

  • as good as this, it is not Floyd

it is a Roger solo production.

    Damn good, but NOT Floyd

  • This has always been a Roger Waters production@Anselcat1952. it is sad that they all couldn't be there but it is what it is. This is Rogers gig. This show was amazing and still is.

  • @Anselcat1952 So is it Floyd when David Gimoure sings comfortably numb?

  • @cloudchaser07 No. He will tell you so too. To Be Floyd it must be all four or three minus Roger, When Richard died Floyd was no more. Nicky was the only constant from Syd onward and he agreed with David.

David can sing Floyd today if he pleases, but he would introduce it as "a song by Pink Floyd" Floyd, in other words, died the day Richard did. "My Partner. My Friend. Floyd is no more. I will never perform as Pinkk Floyd again." said David. I believe him. RIP Roger/Syd and Ricky..

  • @Anselcat1952 I agree 100%

  • @Anselcat1952 I was there and I agree 100 % . Even though I love Paul Carrack, Bryan Adams, etc... It wasn't Pink Floyd...

  • @hyperchipper

True, but the wall is really Roger's story (mixed with that of Syd Barret) with Pink Floyd as back up, if we are going to be honest. Don't get me wrong, I love Pink Floyd, but read Rogers Bio and you are reading the background notes for the Wall

  • Joni Mitchell doing Goodbye Blue Sky = one of the most touching pieces of music recorded. Ever.

  • You're right on the creativeness of Pink Floyds LYRICS. But without Gilmours soulful playing, Ricks keyboard playing, They where the SOUL, Roger was the BRAIN, he needed the others to get his message across, otherwise he wouldn't be NO WHERE.

  • I have to completely agree with this statement, This is filled with much truth but sad floyd couldn't come to a understanding and reunite for this occasion. Pink Floyd 4 ever. God rest your soul rick

  • Adoro i PINK FLOYD!! Questa musica è pura magia, veri maestri della musica rock !!

  • i was told she was a B---h!!!

but how ironic she was at the end of the show.

  • thanx for posting this concert. I'm obsessed with rock and this was a missing piece.

  • He can sing ! Wow with so much feeling.

  • it's she!

  • Now let's see if she'll bust a picture of the Pope again.....

  • lol barb it's not a he, it's a girl, her name's Sinead O'connor

  • I thought this was the best part of the concert. Sinead was great. You can see Roger smiling a lot here - so he's happy with it. For those rippijg on the people in this show please realize, this was not mean to be a "Pink Floyd" concert. It was a berlin wall celebration. Think of it as a broadway show. Some acts were bad (Joni Mitchell, Van Morrison) but many were good.

  • Not a Sinead fan normally, but she nailed this I thought. Very heart felt and well done. Great choice to have her do this.

  • What year did the band do this in?

  • 1990 I believe.

  • The year when Berlin wall was down 1990

  • 9 Nov 1989

  • The wall came down in 1989 this was performed in 1990

  • 4:34 gave me chills :)

  • Joni Mitchell ,truly an enlightened being ,make no mistake....

  • Orgasm after orgasm!

  • shit I love the old school...I love all those bands, Pink Floyd , Led Zeppelin were and are the best... where are the new bands? they don´t rock like them.... viva el verdadero rock......

  • scabdates

  • me too but , exists bands like muse or deftones , this bands playing very good music...

  • Since my dear you have revealed your deepest fears ,I sentance you to awaken ,after you've died to the past of course!

  • John Lilley at 2:45!!

  • joni mitchell butchered this song

  • Joni Mitchell wrote Both Sides Now.Now being the operative word!

  • Joni mitchell an enlightened woman that most rare of beings.

  • syd ,was the beginning .roger and gilmore kept it going .roger bailed out . and gilmore kept the band going . I think pink floyed is david gilmore . roger walters should be roger walters doing pink floyed ,even though he is the voice .david kept the band going ...

  • hehe...

    views 99.999 and 100.000

  • i agree with colugino...add the guitarists in there too!...those would be some pretty big shoes to fill with gilmour gone....they are not going to be able to put every single gilmour lick in there, its impossible, this isnt guitar hero...lol...snowy white and the others hold gilmour as their role-model and i personally think they do a hell of a job...they are putting their own feelings and styles in the music around gilmours foundation and framework...thats one of the great things about music!

  • Was this a reshoot. I saw the original concert on tv and there was a lot of technical problems at this point. Powerful stuff though.

  • Some were lip synched after the show for the dvd and some of the rehearsal footage was used, for example sinead o'connor refused to lip synch her mother rendition so twe used the rehearsal version.

  • I have been reading comments left on all the videos of this concert by the Brittany Spears and Hannah Montana children. It was one of the most amazing concerts of the day. Most weren't even sperm yet and writing comments about something they will never understand. Pink Floyd was and is one of the greatest acts of all time. They put on a CONCERT. Not two hours of lip syncing. And so what if some of the people singing weren't up to your standards. We don't see you up there singing!

  • in my opinion, this is the greatest live performance ever.

  • Honestly, for me too. The best!

    This song is wonderful!

  • I was there. Backstage. As well as backstage at Live Aid. The Wall made Live Aid look like a road show in terms of production values and excitement factor. It was unforgettable.

  • I'm not even a Sinead fan, but she did a fantastic job, I must say.

As for whoever that is that did Goodbye Blue Sky...I can't say the same, and we'll leave it at that.

  • I really enjoyed the videos. It took me back to crazy times in my life when I was a teenager. When I would feel down and out, this song would always come to mind.

  • Merci Beaucoup dude <33 j'adore ce show je l'écoute presque toujours =D

  • Umm....everyone on this show ruined The Wall. Roger should have just used muppets, instead of "special" guests. Notice how he needs about three guitarists to cover David Gilmour. LMAO. It was a very honorable thing to do a show for that moment in history, yes. But its about as entertaining as sandwiching your head with two bricks.

  • not only does he need three guitarists but for the most part they're playing cheap note-for-note excuses for guitar solos

  • Yes! Exactly!! David Gilmour is like my idol, so the thought of the wall without him playing is like blasphemy to me. It just made me speechless. How insanely dull these guitarists are. Its as if Roger auditioned them, and asked, "Can you read guitar tabs, rather than play with your heart and soul? Because thats really important to me." I know one of them is Snowy White and he played backup guitar for floyd since 1975. But based on his playing here, he must have fallen asleep during class lol

  • Granted, at the beginning of Empty Spaces there are some killer licks, and the guy who sings and plays Young Lust kicks ass. I don't remember who either of them were unfortunately, but props to 'em.

  • Yes, i do agree. If i were able to just have certain scenes on tape or something, i would want empty spaces/young lust, and in the flesh with the scorpions. Those were cool versions. The guy playing and singing young lust is Bryan Adams. If you're still not sure...he sang the songs "summer of 69'" and "Everything I Do".

  • roger rules, the david gilmour ego was to idiot for an idea like pink floyd so fuck the old fat bastard

  • The David Gilmour ego??? Have you never heard roger waters? Hes so full of himself, he shits his face out each morning and must reapply it. Ca Ira was a miracle for him. Must have realized there are topics to use, OTHER than his dead father finally. Atleast the other three kept it going, and tried new things. Well, not anymore, but neither is he, except touring dark side of the moon. So he must be lost for ideas now, funny how theres only one. So get your fucking facts straight.

  • you have to realize that the all pink floyd idea is roger's. & if u don't understand that the great artists make once in their life brilliant music & then all the rest is crap, your have nothing to do with music, its more honest to play again and again your best music for the people who admire you and look up to you, than slowly fade away in sad and confused creations,if someone don't have something important to say its better to shut the fuck up, so this is what davido have to do s.t. .f.u.

  • All his idea?? well for starters, syd started pink floyd. Get that fact first. And then to go on to roger, if you truly believed that what his role for them is what makes the whole band. Then you might as well just throw away all your fucking cds and keep the lyrics. Thats all that shithead did. As far as music, he didnt know shit. Try listening to one of his solo albums. Might as well be an audiobook. I bet you didnt even know he spit on a fan at a concert???

  • Roger told the story about that in the special features section of the DVD of "Pink Floyd The Wall". In fact, he said that when he spit on a fan, it was the turning point for him that made him take a deep look at himself and inspired the writing of "The Wall".

Yeah, Syd started it, Roger and David kept it going, but I think Parsons' engineering on Dark Side really brought them to the top. In reality, each member of the team contributed greatly to their success.

  • Ohh yeah, i agree defenitely. It wasn't coincidence that he won a grammy for dark side. He engineered the last two beatles albums as well, so he's one who knew what he was doing. All four did bring their own ingredients to make anything they did, magic. Just wish they'd get along.

  • It seems like Parsons is behind the scenes on all this cool stuff but his own music isn't my taste. What's the deal!

  • You are 100% right dude. Roger Waters was the heart and soul of Pink Floyd. Gilmour was very good, but he was a follower. Roger was the deepness. No Roger - no dark side, the wall or much of anything else.

  • Amazing, I have loved this entire live album since it came ouy and still can't get enough. naysayers rot in hell

  • Friggin' dyke ruined Goodbye, Blue Sky. Lemme quote bmann92:"May Joni Mitchell rot in hell" Couldn't have said it better, man.

  • did Joni even bother to listen to the song first?

  • I think I've fallen in love with the woman who sang Mother. But Joni Mitchell needs to get the fuck off the stage for destroying my favourite song off this album.

  • Mother was sung by Sinaed O'Conner (sp?). Good voice even if I didn't like her political statements at the time.

  • damnit goodbye blue sky was fucking terrible.

  • Yeah, what the fuck what Joni trying to do anyways? Not only was her singing terribly off key, but it completely ruined the moods you receive from the lyrics and sounds.

  • Fucking amazing.

  • Semplicemente, meravigliosi!!

  • I can't speak for my whole generation, but I can speak for me.

Momma is the sweetest person I'll ever meet!

  • I think its quite good myself.

  • arrghghgh that bitch completely ruined goodbye blue sky.

  • may joni mitchell rot in hell

  • ya man whats with all these random musicians, get the original 4 or dont play at all

  • four genius

  • the second woman, joni mitchell, sounds like shes about to die. x.x

  • needs less random musicians and more Rick Wright, Nick Mason and David Gilmour. Roger Waters by himself with random musicians is like...wtf...

  • i usually hate the knob heads who point out when people have said something wrong but... as much as i have respect for all those who try and help poverty stricken Africa. this concert was actual for the memorial fund which is for all those families who need to rebuild their life in war torn countries.. sorry.

  • the second woman is joni mitchell

  • roger can still rock without gilmour but the female vocals make it a wee bit sucky

btw gilmour is awsome but he wasnt the heart of floyd waters was, he wrote most songs but to be fair by the final cut he was being a bit of an asshole

  • I agree for 99% of it...Gilmore imo is a doucher.

  • a bit yes lol but the final cut is also a very good album.

  • yea i loove not now john and a gunners dream!

  • Voice of a legend!!!

    x

  • Momma sounds manly and a little country

  • go on the irish....sinead oconner followed by a fellow irish james galway on flute.

  • Totally agree,dude!

  • The first female vocalist was amazing, and she definitely had a grasp on the character she was portraying. You can really see it in her eyes. The second vocalist didn't impress me so much.

  • The first female vocal, as you call her, is the great SINEAD O´CONNOR singing with ROGER WATERS and THE BAND!!!!!

  • Gracias prometheee por deleitarnos con este video, sencillamente espectacular!!!

  • I agree...I was not there, but these vids shov it all ;)

  • the red socks are the boston baseball team duh

  • THIS SUCKS

I adore Pink Floyd, but no Gilmour= no Pink Floyd.

EVERY female vocal is a sucky one! I want David Gilmour!

  • Brodequinnn I totaly AGREE with you!

    This sucks.

    No Gilmour= No Pink Floyd!

And yes I hate most of the female vocals.

    What A Shame!

I have seen Pink Floyd live 3 times in the USA!

    They Fucking rock (with Gilmour)

They give you a concert you'll never forget. And I always spend most of my money to get the best seats in the house. Wow what a performance, what a show!

  • Don t you know who is the hairless girl singing "Mother"

  • Sinead O'Connor

  • Great stuff this - who's the ugly bint in the second half??
