"Kamikaze Katayama", "Katagrama", etc. This fine fellow had a lot of nicknames that weren't necessarily complimentary of his driving prowess behind the wheel of an F1 car, though he had a great season with Tyrrell in 1994. He took up mountain climbing after he retired from F1.
The Lambo had good power but was terrible with oil consumption. Thus, for races it had to be detuned a bit and had an over-sized oil reservoir to compensate.
The Lambo V12 was an underrated engine. Too bad it as never installed in a competitive chassis. Senna actually tested this engine in the back of a McLaren half-way during the 1993 season and wanted to race it in Japan and Australia, but a deal with Chrysler (who owned Lambo at the time) couldn't be worked out in time, plus McLaren had already been approached by Peugeot for 1994.
In a Tyrrell times Mika Salo asked after Ukyos one sensational lap how did you do it and Ukyo said " i don't know ". Maybe this was one of the reasons why he didn't managed to raise the level. As a F1-Driver you have to know exactly how you do it and analyze it.
Never noticed how Katayama holds his hands so high on the steering wheel, almost like Alesi, although Alesi did a lot better with this technique, but Katayama is still very underrated driver.
In the description you say, "Katagrama" - his nickname in Brazil which is a synonym of the word Lawn-Mower. Its quite a fitting nickname, because he was on the grass enough in his career!

a cool sensation of speed compared to the boring camera angles we have now and the same engine sounds for all the cars
