i have a slim and a pandora kit. its works fine with other psp's. i was trying to mod a psp 2000 model, and all it does is turn on. the screen is all black. just the green light shows up. help?

aaah k so i ordered the pandora battery, and with it i can also make the neccessary files for the mem stick? is psp slim 3.72 able to downgrade? I google it but i find so many different things it sorta erks me and I'v not a clue as to which direction to take. either it says you can downgrade, and then tells you you cant on account of it being a slim, or something along those lines X_X

if I finally succeed in installing a custom firmware, do i still need the pandora batt and the mem stick with the padora files or w/e, in order to actually USE my psp? or can i just go about as normal as i did b4 modding it? with the addition of being able to load my ps1 backups?

Hit "Select" and change UMD mode to m33 or sony np9660

if you need to downgrade your psp, and your a total newb just go to craiglist and find someone locally who can do it for you for around 20 bucks.. or just buy a pre-made kit from finch mall

You mean MagicGate? It just encryptes it so no other type of device can use it. Ex: PSP MagicGate will work on PSP Slim. But the MSDuo card in your PSP will not work in your computer. Either that or check the Wikipedia defintion.

you can make one with a homebrew aplication called Ultra Pandora Installer, its realy usefull cose you can pandorize and unpandorize the batery and make the magic memory with one app.

The info says a physically modded battery was used, which means the battery was physically altered. As in: pop open battery, disable the IC04 sony chip (google around for a diagram), tape or glue it all back together. No homebrew psp required.

Change the program your used to edit it, It might of not saved the video correctly.
