WHERE THE HELL DID YOU GET THIS? This is super COOL! Can I please get a copy. What a great artist Josephine was. I never saw her live (I wasn't born yet) but us young guys dig her too! They where doing it big back in the day and Josephine looks every inch the superstar at 68. Who has this? is it on DVD? Bless you Josef, can you contact me so I can get dates on my Josephine goodies? I'd love a video of her performances. We love youtube!!!
WOW!! Dude whoever - this is so so cool. I want more I heard this was never filmed. I only saw a small newsreel clip provided by one of the cute dancers in her troop. I gotta have this. I'll cook, clean, and even take out the trash. Hook me up. Us young guys like Josephine too! Thanks so much for posting. Was this the first or second show? MORE PLEASE
Merci Mr. Lopez for posting this!!! she had lost Les Milandes in spring 1968 and moved out in 1969. this concert is I recall was April 1975....POST MORE!!!
Merci pour cette vidéo,cela me rappelle bien des souvenirs,Joséphine à Bobino,j'ai eu la chance de voir ce spectacle deux fois, elle etait superbe, dommage qu'il n'existe pas de vidéo.
While she was singing in Monte Carlo, a bank or creditor (I disremember) was trying to evict her old mother and adopted children from the castle that she had called home, far away in france.
The kids were momentarily sent to various places.
I hope that the stories of her dying broke and broken are not true.
Her many acts of kindness in regards to civil rights, children the world over and world war one troops has been down played or plain forgotten over the years.
This is what I saw in a documentary about Miss Baker. After she was evicted, Princess Grace of Monaco gave her & the children a place to live. Then Josephine opened at a place called Bobino. Her show was sold out and the critics praised her. It was two nights later that she died in her sleep. One person said she died of happiness.
She'll be back. Women like her always do just to piss the "powers that be" off and make folks like you respect and love them because they are not afraid be different.
I just want to send a huge THANK YOU to whoever posted this. I knew there was footage of Josephine's last show somewhere. Her unbelievable BOBINO comeback! I have goosebumps watching it. I hope there's more. I adore Josephine Baker and we need more of her. Thank You!!!!!!!! More Josephine at BOBINO!
Thanks to a lovely guy from Germany, Josef, i got a lot of astonishing new material. Ofcourse i will upload as much as possible. Josef is probably one of Josephine's most dedicated fans. He saw her eight times live!! Can you imagine that! Josef, on behalf of all Josehine's fans worldwide....THANK YOU!!!!

Josephine Baker! When will we ever see anyone like her again? She was a great singer and dancer. I wish there were films of all her performances.
