  • You own this shit in your backyard? America is an interesting place, I wonder if some of you have Howitzers in your garage.

  • @TheBigDead0ne post communist countrys are better imho, exchange rates of euros + a surplus of weapons + not so great regulation with the fall of communisim...

nothing new their.... its just americans like C2builder are a fine example of mature owners who know what their doing... drunk eastern europeans with ak's and a flamboyant attitude to gun owning.... its Always interesting.

  • why do you get all the cool toys :(

  • Any chance you can do a video on how the push button select fire works compared to the thumb switch lever select fire works ted revered me to you i would greatly appreciate it Thanks

  • @nelson0110 Which gun are you refering to?

  • @C2builder The mark 2 sten sub machine gun for the push button activated select fire and any switch thumb level activated firearm maybe a Hk mp5 or m4 , akm, glock 18 whatever you have to compare

  • @nelson0110 OK, not sure I will ever do a video on these but I can tell you the Sten push-button select-fire sucks. It's not reliable and can sometimes not capture the trip bar enough to make the gun fire in either mode.

  • Is it post war Dshk? Looks impressive.

  • @karamelles98 Yes, it's a Model 38/46.

  • Now find an old ford ranger or nissan flatbed and bolt down the mount and you have yourself a "technical" fighting vehicle.

  • beautiful sound

  • I WANT ONE......NOW =))

  • How much is .50 bmg these days?

  • @TheloniouseWilse Depends on brand, type primer and bullet type. Quality is going to cost more, like guys that shoot competition long range vs guys that just want it to go bang. Price varies from $1.00 per round to $15 per round.

  • @KiwiTomCrawford The Russian 12.7mm is wider (21.75mm) at the cartridge base vs 20.40mm for the BMG so I'm not sure what you could start with for resizing. Other than the chamber the bore is identical at .50" so that is no problem.

  • The Russian Anthem backed by a sweet symphony of Machine gun fire? I'll drink to that Sir.

  • @T1JumpTIX It's the Soviet Anthem.

  • Cam upgrade? badass HMG C2builder!

  • @Drulil Yes, the one HD camcorder I had no one liked because of poor ass sound quality, this one seems to fit-the-bill.

  • @C2builder Looks and sounds great my friend! thanks!

  • Maybe a heavier base would be in order.

  • @tzychess Base legs are heavy enough, just needed sand bags at each instead of just the front.

  • Please, don't put music over entire video. I want to hear the gun sounds clearly.

  • Great vid. looks like fun to shoot.

Is there a target downrange that's getting pummeled?

  • @MrColt45acp Yeah, we had a couple of Tannerite containers set at 100yds, one was hit but didn't go off. Container was grazed but not hit full center so it didn't go off.

  • A Russian weapon chambered in .50BMG? I always thought Russians made their own calibers.

  • @phgHunter This is a conversion.

  • @phgHunter 12.7x108mm thats the original caliber, but since 50 bmg is a little easier to find on this side of the pond a conversion makes sense.

  • @phgHunter They do have a different round. Russians always go with a round special just for them...just because they are Russian. This was orriginaly chambered in a round similar to the .50, but distictly....Russian.

  • Is this a ww2 weapon ??

  • @curlybobz No, this is the Model 38/46.

  • Kiwited is awesome! We need to get you a more solid mount for that beauty...

  • Seems to recoil/lean more than an M2 - is that just a function of the taller tripod?

DS Arms sells BMG ammo for like $2 or $2.50 per round

  • @12799MaDeuce I just saw that, I may order some.

  • how were u able to hold that thing c2? i noticed on teds video it almost got away from him on his first shot. the recoil must be tremendous. thanks for sharing.

  • That thing puts out more smoke than a coal-powered locomotive.

  • I know the ammo isn't cheap, but it would be nice to see some continuous fire for a bit, rather than very small bursts.

The recoil makes it look like the DHsK would fly off if you did that, though.

  • @Xhaleon Make a deal with you, you send me $150 cash and I will put a solid 50rd belt through it non-stop. Seriously, I'm sure others here would enjoy it too.

  • @C2builder

Hah, me poor studying boy that doesn't live in glorious America.

Eh, $3 a cartridge? For realsies? For cereals? This video just feels more painful to watch now..

  • My damned ears are still ringing, Jim...

  • @kiwitedferny Lol.

  • So how much does the russian 12.7x108mm ammo cost? Must be alot if it was worth rechambering it. Great video btw...seen all the build videos and awesome to see it shoot.

  • @bmp130 The last batch of Russian 12.7mm I saw listed for sale was $8 each. Compare that to U.S. Mil surplus (Boxer primed/reloadable) .50 BMG at $2.50 each. Reload the used Mil surplus brass and you can knock that down to $1.50 each reloaded.

  • That is so badass!

  • I understand its much easier to use .50 bmg but chambering a gun in a different caliber than it was originally made just really takes away the "essence" of the gun in my opinion.

  • @Bamchucknorris You know what you have if you have a firearm with no ammo? A wall hanger.

  • @C2builder Or overengineered club :o)

  • @C2builder I understand...however it really is a matter of opinion. Not that I do not appreciate a usable firearm, but I also feel there should be some sense of originality when it comes to the "soul" of the gun.

  • @Bamchucknorris I agree but this gun was built to be a shooter, rare as far as Post 86 samples go but definetly not a collectable.

  • i thought the 12.7 round only existed in gaming O_o

  • Gotta love the NZ humour, very British-ish (Jeremy Clarkson-esque)

  • whats the average price of a dshk?

  • @nickshehan89 The Dshk parts kits, if you can find them, range from $1500 - $3000. Having one built for you in semi will cost nearly $5000 or more. None can be imported here into the USA, so the originals that are already here are super expensive.

  • @C2builder Are these transferable? Or do you build them just to keep them? Do you own a gun shop or something?

  • @mattrsauve101 I know of only two transferables in the USA and those are the old 1938 ww2 version Dshk. I have not heard of and Dshk 38/46 transferables here.

Yes I have a small machine shop.

  • Wicked stuff brother! Nice flash on that one bro:)

  • Kiwited is louder!

  • Awesome. Nice muzzle flash. Looks like a great firearm.

  • god bless ear protection :) 12.7x99mm is more common or less in usa ?

  • @Hanzounet American .50 BMG (12.7x99mm) is very easy to purchase here and easier to reload. Very little Russian 12.7mm was imported here....very expensive.

  • Very cool! What's really interesting is that for such a large caliber, there's almost no muzzle flash.
