The preacher here is only preaching half the truth, so this message is dangerous.
Christ spent nights praying, the preacher does not mentions this very fact which is where the Lord himself received power to minister the unsaved.
You can minister the unsaved but if you are with no power, no prayer or fasting, what is going to happen is you will end up a corrupted christian, like the ones we see today by the thousands who think that if they are happy the Lord is also happy.
Isn't worship a strange thing to give to the "person" who gave you life unsolicited?
It is strange that he asks for it; it is strange that he needs it.
Let's face it, religion is strange.
The problem you have, if you're going to go along with it, is that you will have to keep it up for ever, this grovelling, for eternity in heaven (hell)
I won't, and many other free persons won't, because we know that life ends when it ends.
We are without all this blaming, and redeeming, and salvation crap.
The last man's life settles into the grave. Our world is now left in ruins. Extinction exists across the Earth. Eulogy imprinted on their hearts. Humanity now forgotten in the void. Do you know the cause of the universe's failure? The cowardly white light of god is to blame. The church weakness and suffocates the will. Man-made plague to poison the race. Fools live to be led by fools. Holy arrogance builds on their mountain ignorance. This world of misery and you are to blame.
Marck0938- the reason that Catholics aren't christians because when they read the book of John, they don't read reed John 3:15 because It will actually disprove that the religion- Catholicism is actually false.
John 3:15 -That whosoever believeth in him (Jesus Christ) should not perish, but have eternal life.
Why catholics are not christians? #1 they call the priest Father, according to the bible the only father is GOD(Christ).#2they believe in saints(Idol worshippers)The are not believing in the word of God.
IF YOU DON"T BELIEVE THAT I AM HE YOU ARE STILL IN YOUR SINS...
I would say you are still by saying Jesus isn t GOD sad but you are still religious and kept darkness doctrines paganism in your own thoughts the only one you did that bless me is WHY I HATE RELIGION ......Please study WHO is GOD and JESUS sure is. Isa 63:16 LORD ART OUR FATHER,OUR REDEEMER ,YOUR NAME IS EVERLSATING Isa 63:16 and more rebisliberee
While yes SCRIPUTURE speaks and gives way to RIGHTEOUS ANGER in certain circumstances, I find it hard to believe that JESUS would have been one to throw a fit when he was being interrupted. I am a CHRIST FOLLOWER and it gives me thought that some people do not follow nor understand the CHRIST that I have come to know and love. And though I have many SHORTCOMINGS it does not change his love for me and the continuance of BLESSINGS poured out to me. I cannot buy your VIEWPOPINT sorry...
paleo - Matthew 14:13-15, since when did Christ ever get angry with people "interrupting" him?
...and being a catholic means not being a Christian. They don't believe/follow the Jesus that the Bible teaches or the gospel, therefore those who follow catholicism aren't "believers", iloveteaandcoffee
You're right, it's the heart of the person that is the issue. However, I said nothing about the building they worship in, I said Catholics aren't believers. I didn't say anything about a building. Catholics aren't believers, defined by there very own doctrinal position. Yes, clergy are responsible for what they speak, but so is every other individual. Every person is also individually culpable for their own beliefs, regardless of what they are taught. An "open heart" won't save. Faith will.
Hmm.....I agree to an extent. I mean, I'm definitely not a catholic, but we have got to speak truth here. Yes, monks and nuns live separately without modern music or television. But they are not hermits. They go out into the world. Some work at catholic schools as teachers, some have formed choirs, some do regular charity work, etc. etc. But I agree that their doctrine is wrong and they shouldn't wear special clothes or even think that they are better than any other believers.
ilove - Although I do not equate myself with Catholicism in any way whatsoever, I must say that to assume monks "think they are better" than anyone is just that, an assumption. Dressing in meek attire & living a life of prayer, poverty, devotion, & servitude isn't meant to appear to be "better", but a humbling of the flesh & making themselves HIS servants. It's to keep them focused on HIM & not on things for themselves. Its just too bad they follow such pagan doctrine after such humbling.
If this is totally true, why does Jesus often go away to pray privately, and why does He get mad when He is interrupted? I'm not really arguing, though I disagree with the view of monasticism that is pictured...it could also be seen as front lines fighting with prayer...unless you think prayer does nothing. Don't be a Martha.

Dirty? Jesus wasn't afraid to get his hands nailed!
Jesus walks into a motel, gives the innkeeper three giant nails and asks, Can you please put me up for the night?

watch how you judge
for so you will be judged
by the same measure!
Its the heart of the believers
that concerns Christ
not the building they worship in!
if the Bible is not taught as u say
that would be more on the backs of the clergy than those who come with a grateful heart open to Christ!
