@reflexassassin How do you expect Hideyoshi to be at Sekigahara? If he didn't die somehow, this game wouldn't take place... or would take place in Korea. You have two options. Either Ieyasu can defeat Hideyoshi in a cinematic to give us access to all the post-hideyoshi fighting... or we can watch the Sengoku Basara Hideyoshi get sick, die, grant governing power to 5 regents... you know, historical stuff. It is over the top and inaccurate! It is Sengoku Basara!

@ebonywinged Since you seem to have some clue about Japanese history during that era (atleast way more than me). I've read somewhere that Ieyasu managed to unify Japan at the battle of Sekigahara. To me, killing off Nobunaga, Hideyoshi, Mitsunari and also unifying Japan, gonna be hard to pull out a 4th sengoku basara o.O. Your thoughts?

@nwre I'm thinking it would be darn near impossible... unless they worked out a super Sengoku Basara, one with all the characters and a story mode that took place over the entire war... it probably isn't going to happen. So far, Sengoku Basara hasn't been like its counterpart Samurai Warriors, and each game has stepped forward the time period a bit. If they want to make another, they will have to start at the beginning again, because Sekigahara is it.

I already played three different games of Samurai Warriors but they ended up just a same and no better improvement except characters. But in Basara as you seen they have adopted anime and manga plus interesting stories change over time unlike Samurai Warriors while they keep characters alive for decades.

@nguyenkhan202 It's Capcom though, they have the money to endorse anime and manga, not to mention relate Koei's hack-n-slash concepts with some DMC style. Not to mention the amount of colorful characters, even though half of them are pretty much guilty pleasure and that the SB games have little to no involvement with the actual history (which koei did so much better). When did I say SW was better anyway? The best Koei could make was Hokuto Musou, and I hope to see that innovation in a DW7.
