  • i think the new animated grimlock looks like those robotic rats from classic teenage mutant ninja turtle. but its a cool figure though.

  • I also forgot, Robots in Disguise Grimlock isn't a real Grimlock. His name is just Grimlock but he's a different character. I mean come on, he isn't even the leader of the Build Team which is part of.

  • I didn't forget because I said exactly that before I threw him to the ground.

  • It's just that you said in your opinion. I was just letting you that Robots in Disguise Grimlock isn't a real Grimlock not only in your opinion but in the Robots in Disguise fiction. Even the Mustang Grimlock is the real Grimlock in the Alternators fiction.

  • they only named the rid character with that name is so they could re-use the name for the classics version because they would have kept it under trademark

  • That's not the point!!!

  • WOW! You really need to learn how to transform your figures before you review them because Grimlock's arms are too long because you didn't push them in. Grimlock's dino head should be on his back looking up and his dino arms should be folded in robot mode

  • yeah i have one to and i agree you need to learn how to transform them first then review them

  • His robot arms, (the black parts) kind of slide inside is upper arms.

It makes then shorter arms I think better looking.

  • I love this review, this guy is FUNNY as HELL!!!!!

  • I've been looking to get this one but I'm not sure if I should get it considering I don't plan on picking up any other TFA figures, for the same reason you list Zac, they just don't blend with the other figures I own.

"This Grimlock isn't a Grimlock at all!"

    Classic.

  • I feel the same way Zac and Red - I broke down and got a Bumblebee from the new animated series - because I have to support my favorite character - haha! I saw the Grimlock at Target awhile back but didnt grab him, because I didnt want to really start collecting the new series; just Bumblebee - but seeing your review has me thinking I may need to pick this guy up.

  • What about Beast Wars Grimlock?

  • how to get dinobots in tf2. its easy. simply have them "crash-land" in a museum, being a bit dim they think the dinosaur displays would make ideal and powerful disguises. then you get the comic relief of them stomping out of the museam wondering why all the small pink soft things are making all that noise and running away from them. "me grimlock smart, dinobots completely in-cog-nito" *ping pang of gun fire against transformer skin"

  • in lincoln nebraska they have about 5 in stock every time i go to the one on 48th street

  • i been looking for this guy for months and still nothing

  • me too. It sucks

  • I ended up ordering him online at the end of June. Only time(s) I've seen him at retail was just last week, out of state.

Anyways, good review, though as has been pointed at you do have him transformed incorrectly. His arms go in a good bit further, and his head folds up and pegs into the back, and the backpack section pegs into the back as well.

  • hey i feel ur pain.

  • i got him before transformers animated toys where even supposed to be released and i got it at a store

  • lucky

  • You mistransformed his dino head and arms

  • i don't see how, his dino head is how it was right out of the box. The arms aren't all the way in, but you only push them up a centimeter.

  • In robot mode, the dinosaur head can fold up and the dinosaur arms can fold in

  • yeah, but then it doesn't look G1.

  • Also the black part of the robot's arms can collapse into the biceps to make his arms less gangly.

    Otherwise, good review man. :-)
