And many of the smart scientists are doing all kind of weird attempt and research, something could go wrong. So surely it can happend real, but I don't think like in the movies. And the chances for it to be is very small, doctors fix all kinds of diseas.

But I like all these movies, but its just me, some like flying pandas, I like the zombies.

its funny. so many people preparing, some even want it to happen, and myself personally i know knowledge is power, preparing for a "zombie invasion" involves learning alot of basic survival that can be applied to any survival scenario. i couldnt bear the thought of something happening to my loved ones in an apochalypse scenario, so i do all i can to be prepared. wether its zombies, an epidemic, a natural disaster, i sleep a little better at night knowing if something does happen, ill be ready

@CaneFu I can't speak for everyone but to be "Zombie" is simply a catch word for worst possible scenario. If I am set to survive a massive invasion of undead flesh eaters then I will probably be okay when a flood hits or when a snow storm leaves me stranded for a couple of days. That is just me though.

If you have a million little specks that are magnetic by north pole and you put a south pole magnet in the middle then they will all clump around that one magnet. Imagine the north pole magnets are zombies and the south pole magnet is a lone survivor or a cow or something.

Pretty much it's like a more instinctive human with high aggression towards regular humans. It can smell a certain signature scent that humans have. They might not be able to find you with it like radar but they'll know when you're in the area. But again zombies are fictional like you said and could be either way. So I'd say we're both right

If you want to place your bets based on what you see on tv then fine but from a logical standpoint any remotely plausible zombie-style mutation/disease would cause hightened smelling senses and lowered eyesight and lowered feeling senses. It would also raise their adrenaline to insane levels making them feel no pain and seem to be stronger than they should. Unless you're talking about walker zombies.

@ScrumpyVids The idea of zombies didn't come from movies.  It came from books which means someone who writes books thought them up. Since then there have been many many variations of zombies ranging from slow walking dumb ones raised from the dead by dark magic to the high speed rage infected zombies from 28 days later. But if you want to look at real possibilities for zombie attacks you have to understand that any disease is limited to what the human body is capable of.

That kind of zombie wouldn't live more than a week even with what we would consider a reasonable food supply. And don't forget, hand-to-hand combat is much more about technique than about strength (although it is important). If a 400 pound man with no training tried to fight chuck norris he'd get his face broken. So as long as you fight smart you'll be ok.

@ScrumpyVids be very instinctive. And instincts would cause the zombies to group up because of A) similar goals B) instinctive knowledge of strength in numbers. So no matter how you look at it, it is only logical that any kind of zombies capable of actually existing without divine intervention or something, would be instinctive. And a raised adrenaline (which would give them speed and strength) sharpens senses like smelling and hearing.
