  • Nice job, boys. Thumbs and regards.

  • @CharmedQuarkZ99

That would be quite a nod indeed.

    Thanks, my friend.

  • Thanks so much for stopping by.

  • Hello,

    It's very nice, congratulation.

    Joguitac

  • Please turn it up! :-) Do you kow how INFREQUENTLY I hear guitarists who can play this song??? In my area I think I'm the only one who can play this! And I mean I can play it on guitar! I do a bass solo on it too, but that's not on the original version.

So next time please turn it UP because it's refreshing to hear that their are other people in the world who play this tune and do a GOOD guitar rendition of it!

    Thank you!

  • @Upritebass

Thanks for taking the time, my friend.

I find the idea of a bass solo intriguing. I'd love to hear it.

  • Nice but very funy fice the guy who sing jajajaj

  • Great job,boys!!!!

  • Very Nice guys.. Once you turn it up... :OP

  • Thanks so much for taking the time.

Yea, we're working with some truly prehistoric equipment.

  • My song prefer of the Rolling Stones ,because I like acoustic guitar.Bravo *****

  • Thanks so much for stopping by and giving it a listen.

You're an amazing player, my friend.

  • Hey tom just wanted to tell you how good of a cover this is. its strange this seems like a raw cut and yet sounds and feels like its mastered. I

  • I'm really glad you liked it. And, yes, it's about as raw as it gets - we just lucked out.

  • What a beautiful cover of this great song. Such great guitar work.

  • Thanks so much for such a nice comment.

    Take care.

  • Hey Tom,Very cool cover of a great song! You and your friend there play the guitar very well! The only thing I think would have made this a little bit better, is if you would have sang it a little louder! Very well done indeed! I love this song & play it often on the Piano! You Rock!

  • Thank you very much, Ethan. Frankly, I'm surprised any of it comes out at all, considering the barbaric equipment being used: an analog vid recorder with a broken mic and tape drive, which means I have to set up an ambience mic, run that through an old board, and then run everything straight into a VCR to record it. I think that's about as "raw" as it gets.

  • Wow, that sounds sounds pretty rough Dude , but the outcome is very Good! Have a great Weekend!

  • you have nice music here good work man

  • Thanks, Jimmy. I appreciate and value your opinion.

  • Hello Tom this is an astonishing cover. I love the original but i really do prefer your own interpretation. Talk to you soon.-Duncan.

  • Thank you, my friend.

  • Great cover, Tom and Edward. You put your own unique sound to this song that has been done so many times. You made it sound new. Thx. Will you do your own version of Willie Nelson's song A Peaceful Solution? Love to feature you on Willie's Peace site. Liz

  • Thanks, Liz. Still trying to work out a version of Willie's tune that'll be alright. I think I'm almost there.

  • Great to hear Tom. Look forward to your rendition. Thx. Liz

  • wow, you guys really put a cool spin on this tune ! well, it took me awhile to really 'get' your stuff too. so I guess I'm in the same boat with this nameless woman, haha.

  • Hey Danny! I didn't mean to turn it into a mystery. Her name's Angie.

  • I know, I was just joking. lol

  • Holy smokes. And it went right past me -- that strikes me as a bit worrisome, son. lol :)

  • Wonderful job my friend.

  • Thank you, Gentlemen.

I think I'm going to have to schedule a BCBand night -- you guys turn out great stuff at an amazing rate. I'm having trouble keeping up lol

But keep 'em coming. Your renditions are always a pleasure, and you put your own unique spin on all of them. All the best, my friends.

  • Loved it Tom,

I sing this but felt I couldn't play it well enough to ever really cover it; again, super job :) Btw, Edward really aced the lead work.

  • I don't know, Jack. I believe you could play this tune just fine.

And Ed really does make this one go, doesn't he?

    All the best, my friend.

  • Great job on those guitars guys! Great job all around! 5*s

  • Thanks, Glenn. It's always a pleasure to hear from you. I trust you're still knockin' 'em out -- it's always nice to see a friend who's on a roll.

  • Well I'm jumping at the chance to comment first :) Like it very much Tom and Ed. In fact I think just prefer your version to the original, as much as I like the original. I think this is your first cover isn't Tom?. Good choice. Later -Ron

  • Thanks, Ron. I value your opinion a great deal, and I'm glad you think we did it justice.

It is my first cover, and I did it because this friend of mine has helped me out more times than I could ever repay. So to do this for his wife was my pleasure.
