Thank you for the advise. I am not a begginer at airsoft. Ive been playing the awesome sport for a few years now and ive gone through many AEG trying to find the best one for my $. I recieved the gun a few days ago and I love it! I found the FPS to be right around 420-450 on green gas. Ive taken it appart a few times already to clean it. I do find this to be an extremely awesome gun!The only problem is that it works fine for a while, but then the semi auto would shoot once,then lock up.Any idea?

This gun is NOT for beginner or even moderate airsoft players. It takes about the same amount of work as a real rifle. You have to be religious about cleaning it and make sure its always oiled. Its a good idea to reinforce the screws with loctite, because they were not designed for the recoil. FPS is around 380.

CO2 will not break the gun as long as you maintain it well. Yes its worth the money, but i cannot stress enough that you need to know what you're getting into.

@airsoftermatt22 I would argue that it takes MORE upkeep shot for shot than a real SCAR. If the SCAR's piston driven system is half as reliable as my AK's piston system, then it should only NEED cleaning every 500 rounds or so. I've found that the WE SCAR requires cleaning ever few hundred rounds, and that's assuming you're putting silicone in with the gas. But yes I agree, it requires a lot more upkeep than say, an AEG, and for that reason alone, it's not for beginners.

You're very slow. The M4 has the exact same internals as the SCAR. Only difference is body, and the M4 is great
