  • Nice run i usually run at kilkare. What does a 07 gt with a grenateli cai and a tune usually run what mph? With a good driver?

  • How much do line locks cost and where can I purchase them?

  • nice ride man...I would use this video as a learning film, because you launch and shift at diff RPM's each run, get consistent and ur right, thats a 12 sec car.....only an observation not criticism .....

  • i was lookin into buyin an 05+ but i dunno :/ shouldn't have to do so much work to a v8 to run twelves its not worth it to me i dont think. my honda runs 12's... but im such a mustang fan boy

  • nice car i think i heard some powershifting there sick stuff. but yea i think a longer burnout might help hook it up? i dont mean to upset anyone just sayin

  • Man do I like the sound of a Mustang:X:X!!

  • Awesome video. Way to race that 'Stang man!

  • I ran a 13.9 @ 99.53 at 4500ft ALT with 4.10, CAI/tune and Stock tires (2.0 60ft). At sea level this would translate to about 13.1-13.2.

With Mickey's and spray, you should be getting 1.6-1.7 60ft's. Get those tires nice and hot before launching. Your 1.87 wasn't too bad. With a trap of 111mph you should be below 12.5 on a hard launch.

  • Youve got to be able to run better than a 13.5 with those mods. I ran 13.2 @ 108.61 w/ long tubes, o/r x, cai, tune, tb, u/d pulleys, 4.10s, short throw shifter, delete plates on street tires. On et streets I pulled a 12.71 @ 99 b/c I l had to let out and put the breaks on.

  • nice run

  • if you can get it to hook right, there is definitely high-mid 12s in there

  • I already ran a 12.8x. If I learn how to drive it is a 12.5 sec car.

  • I would rather have a 4 cylinder Mustang II.

  • i have a 2005 gt mustang with a 4.10 gear and jba long pipe headers with a hpipe wit no cats n exuast and a diablo sport tuner and i ran 13.5 wit stock tires just sat and smoked em up..now there kinda bald

  • that seems very slow considering a stock 2000 gt bullitt runs a 13.7

  • thats kinda weird cause my cousin has a 2000 gt bullitt bone stock and he ran it at the track it only ran a 14.2

  • i got the numbers from car and driver. maybe they are optimistic.

  • Damn, a 13.3 with a 1.8 60ft? Wtf? I ran a 13.2 with a 2.0 60ft, and all ive got is cai+tune, and frpp handling pack, with dr's

  • 75 shot gives low end torque gallore but i know wat u mean :(

  • beast!!

  • well i hear from alot of people to burnout untill the tires smoke and that will tell you when they're heated. it doesn't make sense for someone to run slicks without heating them...

  • umm...I know that. I didn't heat them up enough/properly for them to hook. I have line locks now...just need to install them.

  • you need to do a 2nd gear burnout through the waterbox. keep doing the burnout untill your tires smoke, then they'll be heated. if you like powershifting i would recomend a tko trans. the 3650 wont take it for long nice runs!

  • It is mounted on the passenger side headrest (could be on the driver side too if you want). It is made by "cruisecam". Check out their website.

  • What gears are you running?

  • 4.10's

  • How do you have the camera mounted? My wife has a 2007 Roush with a Zex 75 shot, underdrive pullies, cai.I ran a best of 12.76@110.She ran a best of 13.6.Youcan watch it on you tube type in 07 roush,it was at Gateway International raceway.

  • You have to heat up the tires more. You should be getting at least 1.5 or less 60sec times.

  • There are more variables in the 60 foot times other than tire temp. And how do you know for sure that the tires were not at proper temp? Again, many more factors come imto play for the 60 other than optimum tire temp such as suspension, launch rpm, gear etc, and most importantly track prep.

  • Way to punch through those gears by the way!

  • I love that sound!

  • Badass, Nice sound. Cool camera angle too.

  • You need to get a 1st gear lockout for that juice. If your gettting a 2.1 or 2.2 60 on it and 1.8 off it, it would make sense. checkout the zex kit. Also i have the et streets on my s197 and they hook up alot better on the street than the track, you need biasply for the track.

  • It is a Zex kit. If you hook up...it is not necessary to have 1st locked out. Guys are getting 1.6 times spraying on the same MT's I have. Like I said...it was my fault...not the cars.

  • me too

  • Yep...if I knew what I was doing (i.e. proper burnouts) and my nitrous system didn't blow a fuse...I would be in the mid 12's easy.

  • i was guessing 12s
