I loved this when it was released; they used to play it all the time on KFI 640 Los Angeles in the fall of 1983.
I looked for YEARS for the 45, even online for SO long. Finally found one at some obscure web site! It was great to hear it again in full sound, rather than from the long-distance AM radio signal when I recorded it on my boombox all those years ago.
Great video, thanks for posting it! Dara was so beautiful! I wish she's continued her singing career, she was really good!
So, can anyone tell me exactly why Neill is not a candidate? Or is that the best is being saved for last? Like, uh maybe 2012? Loved his seventies, soulful version of "BreakIng Up is Hard to Do",
and Bette Midler's rendition of his "Do You Want to Dance"!
Neil Sedaka should be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame. This man is a GIANT in the industry and this is long overdue. His songs are timeless classics that he has written and sang himself and they have also been performed by some of the greatest artists of our time!!! Neil Sedaka is without a doubt one of the pioneers of Rock & Roll!!
Used to hear this on KIXI Light in Seattle, took me years to find the single. Dara is pretty, is she still singing?

I had the pleasure of attending one of Neil Sedaka's concerts.
It was one of the most entertaining shows I ever saw.
Truly, one of the greatest artists in his generation. A timeless piece of Rock & Roll history.
Saw Dara in London in 1981 - she was 17 years old - Wonderful woman! ♥♥♥
