k..so i'l b gettin back on CoV in about 2 months & was playing around with Mids..i'm trying to come up with a great build bt ran into some problems..now..i want to do BOTH PVE & PVP & am planning on focusing on control & support..the med pool comes in handy in PVP & PVE bt i REALLY wanna get the leadership pool..should i really give up aid self & aid other to run tactics & assault..i definitely got the endur 4 the leadership pool bt is it worth it..& i still need to make space for vengeance

Fire/Dev can be decent in the right hands, and MA isn't terrible. However it's certainly not the best scrapper primary as shinkada would suggest. It's the highest DPS if you stand in mele... but when is PvP mele? Spines is by far the best set for scrappers.

I have a Ice/Fire named Cryo Burn :) (lvl 40). And what SBplz said is true, when you acquire perma dom it truly a totally different game for us Dominators. What you see in the video is nothing compared to what Cryo Flame is now.
I know this is a little late to be asking this, judging by the date this was posted, but i made fire/ice dom and got hi, to 15 only to see that he sucks in PvP. and after seeing this video i now know i must of done something wrong... can you give me any tips or advise? i really need it
Seriously. There is no advice better than that. PvP is overflowing with people who will abuse any exploit, any broken pool, any unfixed tactic to win... And there are a lot of those exploits, pools and tactics. Unless you enjoy a race to be the first to abuse something broken, just keep PvP to nothing but 1-1 Arena matches with people you already know.
Wait till you get to atleast 22 and get SOs. Doms really aren't that great until they get permadom, which requires IOs. Get to 30 with a decent build and then go back and try it.

And how much time does it take to research? Five minutes? I said MA/Regen because I know that MA has the best DPS of all Scrapper primaries, and I said Regen because, well, it's been overpowered for a damn long time now. Fire/Devices with Teleport Foe, well, as long as the Teleport hits you can pretty much kiss the enemy goodbye, if you're gunna spam trip mines and AoEs.

Don't show unfinished fights, it feels like I'm watching the sopranos season finale. If you have seen the season finale for sopranos, you'll know what I'm talking about.
Bottom line, if the fight goes no where and the person runs, then just don't show it.
Or if it take a lot of time, just skip to the part where you die or he dies.

Just an added note, all those people in the vid are the same people just in different scenes. I broke up the fights into segments and mixed them together.
So for example, the fight at the end of the video is the ending to the Katana/Regen fight in the middle, etc ...
Where do you get the pet window from? Really nice video. One day I'll pvp better. :p It's probably because I only use pve builds in pvp zones. (at 50 I'll respec into pvp). <- Azu
The pet window can be accessed by going to menu --> Generals Tab --> scroll all the way down and enable "Show Pet window" --> open up your team window near your chat and it should show "Pets" at the top of the team window.
