Dover Impulse Elevator.

Must have the bumper on the inner door, because if it had optical sensors, the door would reverse upon putting the BlackBerry in its path.

@georgef551 It's actually a ThyssenKrupp (large braille plates on door jamb), and it has the MicroLight door sensors. He put the phone in the door in a way that it would close on it, but not trigger the sensor.

How does that work? All lifts/elevators I've used (UK) have the doors reopen or not even close if the door sensor is blocked?

What a bloody stupid thing to do,i repair elevators in the uk,and i can honestly say that you could have put your dick in that door with the same result,the pressure knuckle trips out, what a wally
