I wish that Cedar Fair would have added some new stuff and tried to bring more people to it. I might go to Ohio this summer and would have loved to go to Geauga Lake. So sad.

Cedar Fair is fuckin Garbage as a company. I give Cedar Point as a park credit for being a good amusement park, but its the Executives at Cedar Fair LLC who Ruined Geauga Lake. Its ok.They think KD is a money maker and GL was just a piece of crap,which it wasnt.When they bought Paramount parks in 2006,I think they purposely closed Geauga Lake so their "Money Making" parks could benifit off its rides.

Cedar Point had the parking pass that went on the car, but last year (and still the same this year) they siwtiched it to an added purchase that you add to your're pass. You can get a parking pass without a season pass, but you get a little card that is registered to someone, that person needs to be in the car with you for the pass to work. I have a parking pass added to my season pass, its well worth the price if you go about two times it pays for itself.

It was better off before Six Flags. They had lots of growing attendance and families coming to the park, but then Six Flags bought it, destroyed the family atmosphere and bought Sea World (which was the main attraction).

Watch, as soon as all of the rides, attractions, and buildings are demolished and/or relocated, the historic area of the beloved Geauga Lake will become a housing development or a condominium complex. So sad to see it go...

Me & my parents used to come here every other summer since 1972 visiting from Illinois.
And I fondly remember all theGeauga Lake lasses and maidens that I met whilst I was there: Amy, Kim, Missy, Melissa, Sandy...the list goes on..
Sad day it was for all of Ohio, I bet.
Now that I am in The U.K., I cannot help but remember the *good times* we all had there..
