  • Sex! I've got an airtight pussy...I mean plan :D

  • IDK his name, but the guy that does Sykes's voice played in season 5 of the HBO series The Sopranos.

  • whoa. I had no idea this movie was so beautifully animated. And I remember so many odd details from it when I was a kid, now that I watch this! This has motivated me to pick up the movie sometime so I can reacquaint myself with it. <3

  • You know that Fagin isn't the guy in your first clip, right?? Hehe

Thank you for uploading this! Totally made my day ;D

  • im having a bad day!!!!! i love this!

  • I can't believe you cut the final chase!! That was the most awesome part of the movie!

  • The fagin in this is shit.

  • Like if Fagin is your favorite bum

  • Syke's acting seems like DeNiro's. He is excellent, Fagin's acting as well!

  • I SAID PUSH

  • 0:45 - 0:50

    3:00 - 3:21...fuking hilarious!

  • sykes used to petrafie me as a child

  • I have to admit Sykes and his dog's deaths very pretty horrible coming back to it. Both the dogs got violently electrocuted to death on the subway tracks (You even see one of them get electrocuted by the tracks which is the worst part) And Sykes gets smashed to pieces by a train! I love this film but god that was a nasty way to go out.

  • R.I.P Dom Deluise (you were the best Comedian on earth).

  • Sykes rocks! i think he's an underrated villain for Disney just like Ratigan. He's a mobster type of person. I saw this movie 3 times back in 1988 when it came out at age 7 and had some merchandise including Happy Meal toys, then when i saw the theatrical re-issue in theaters at age 14 i noticed that Sykes looks like Clarence from Robocop. Who else thought the same thing?

  • **HONK** fall

    Owned.

  • is sykes a mafioso?

  • He is a mobster all right

  • Sykes is one badass! He doesn't mind hurting people when he doesn't get what he wants and he'll even kidnap little girls to get what he wants.

  • @bart11114

Did you see this in theaters when you were a kid back in 88 and had some of the merchandise including the Mcdonalds stuff? i did when i was 7 3 times in theaters and had the merchandise especially the soundtrack. Too bad it never came out on video the next year or for 7 long years, i did saw the re-issue when i was 14 and bought it on video the first day after waiting, did replaced it with 2002's DVD like always on some tapes. Does Sykes look like Clarence from Robocop to you?

  • @Johnlindsey289 I was born in 1992 actually. I borrowed the video tape from my local library when I was like 7. I now own it on DVD. and yes Sykes does look like Clarence from Robocop. Did you know the guy who played Clarence also played Red from That 70's Show?

  • @bart11114

Of course, Kurtwood Smith but isn't that cool i saw this in theaters when it first debuted in 1988?

  • @Johnlindsey289 absolutely. Toy Story was the first movie I saw in theaters and i thought that was pretty cool.

  • Got this on vhs in 96, reminds me of my childhood = twitterscripts(.)net

  • Dom Deluise did a good job on Fagin.

He was a good actor who made us laugh till we cry!

    R.I.P Dom Deluise.

  • This is one of the few Disney movie in which the animation is actually good.

  • You're insane. Disney animation is always good. However, this is an under-appreciated Disney film, certainly.

  • I agree, I love Fagin (Dom Deluise), his voice over work as well as the animation / character design is perfect! So funny too! I love him :)

  • @phakim33

Did you see this in your country's cinema as a kid back in 89 when it hit your country in 89? it debuted here in the states and Canada in november/december 88. Do you think Sykes looks like Clarence Boddecker from Robocop?

  • you can't be serious...

humor me though and give me the best animated movies that weren't created by Disney. We'll wait...

  • Perhaps I was a bit unfair.

I guess what meant to say was that it was a style that I preferred, and that there isn't as many animations that recycled as in some other Disney cartoons.

As for other great non-Disney animated films:

    1. The Prince of Egypt

    2. Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron

    3. The Iron Giant

    4. The Triplets of Belleville

    5. Prince Vladimir

    6. Persepolis

Disney just happened to dominate practically the entirety of the 20th Century.

  • Good answer. :) Now if we could only get back to great animation these days.
