I am well impressed with how many times the BBC use Blink 182 in this show, great to see one of the best bands in the world getting some coverage, and people using their songs becasue of the great lyrics, rather than focusing on them singing about sodomising dogs!

Ahhh people!! I am not critisizing (i can't spell, but hey-ho) the show! The upbeat advert is actually pretty kick-ass. What I've been trying to say is that, in my opinion, THIS particular version of the song doesn't work. The only reason i'm saying this is because in the lyrics it's on about all the little things this one woman did that made this guy love her, so it's a really happy song. All i had tried to point out was that singing about that subject in such a sad way didn't quite fit. O_o

Well i know he's sad here jonnyparryman, but what i meant was that knowing the song and knowing the lyrics, it's far from actually being a sad song, so i don't think it really works here. Tom DeLonge wrote it about his girlfriend (who's now his wife) because she was upset that he'd written about past girlfriends but not her. This was his way of letting her know how he felt. To be honest, if he'd performed it as miserable as this, she would have left him hahaaa
