I hated trying to watch this movie with my sister. She would get mad and fast forward this part and not let me see it. Then she had the nerve to get mad when I fast forward through the Titans singing.

To this day I wonder why this movie had such a horrible animation. Hercules and Xena were huge back then, with millions of fans (me being one of them) worldwide. Sure they deserved better than this. I still remember how disappointed I was that they could afford the original actors to do the voices, yet the movie looks like a cheap Hanna-Barbera cartoon from the seventies.

Oh, wow. This brings back memories. I remember loving this movie so much as a kid. And, now, I want to hunt down the vhs (it's in a box somewhere in this house!) and watch it all over again.

I guess I can understand why it was a flop. But, I loved the art style as well as the sarcastic quips through the film. So, it wasn't so much one for me. Haha. Thanks for posting this! :) Bringing peoples fond memories back (and allowing them to find this awesome song!)

That's cool. The Singers are, "The Sirens." Fish woman who's singing was so bewitching, all who heard it were Doomed to crash their ships against the rocks. Or drown swimming to them.

In the live action version, they resembled woman except for scales on their arms and legs. But I like this version too :D

Ya know, I thought this movie was awesome when I was younger. Now that I'm older, I think the overall animation is quite lazy, but appropriate for the era the movie takes place. The music is awesome, though, even if there's only three songs. All in all, I'm bias to it because of Michael Hurst. Thus, I think this definitely beats out the Disney version. Of the two series the movie is based off of (Xena and Hercules) I still say HTLJ beats all. Eat that, Clash of the Titans!

Apollo at 4 days old begged Hepaetus for a silver Bow and arrows to defend his mother from Hera and Artemis was rumored to have mother the first amazon's with Ares (old myth) and when she was about to marry Orion Apollo tricked her into killing him because Apollo refused to let his sister marry a mortal.

Athena's Mother was Metis (a Titan) Zeus first wife, but Uranus warned Zeus that he would be overthrown if he had a son with her. Metis was the Titan of Knowledge. Hera wanted to prove her power to Zeus so she reproduced Hephaestus on her own, thats why he was unattractive ( he was the oldest of second generation) Zeus order hepaestus to crack his skull open then out comes Athena. Zeus marries Hera and produces Harmonia, Eris, and Ares. Zeus first infidelity was with the nymph Leto

@indigogo5 From an artistic point of view I can see why. I took some classes at art school I always look at movies critically. It is a very quirky style. I can see the style is mostly shapes, which isn't unnatural. It's simplistic, but for a series that is so action based, there are a lot of unnecessary scenes and the scenes aren't played as well as they should. At times the lip syncing is atrocious and looks like an English dub.For the most part it's badly animated, doesnt flow.

I was under the impression they were nymphs. However, since this movie is based on the two TV series "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys" and "Xena: Warrior Princess" I have no doubt that the creators took liberties with the characters. They could very well be Sirens made to look more "fish-like and effeminate".

This is not true. It was Harpies who were half birds. Sirens were the ones who would sit on rocky cliffs and sing to enchant sailors to come nearer to their death.

Holy crap. I had no idea that the movie was a failure- I worshiped it! I remember when mom rented it from Blockbuster- I watched it 5 times nonstop. We got it as much as possible.
