Fairly big difference, the mafia is organized crime mainly consisting of drugs, weapons, and in the past gambling. An a/c is a state agency who takes sanctioning fees and hires refs and judges. The Mafia has been essentially driven out of vegas and gambling a long time ago. While surely some corruption still exists it's not any worse than big corporations corrupting the rest of the government. This isn't the 50's, the mafia doesn't run things like they used to.

As for MMA fighters being better than boxers? Look at how Anderson Silva ko'd Forrest Griffin. Pure boxing skills. MMA fighters don't have the footwork, speed, or the punching power that boxers do. The last guy that tried to take down Anderson Silva got embarrassed. Anyone who relies on the ground game fails in this sport against a fighter who knows how to box and has great footwork. Tito ortiz couldn't even take down Liddell. A roy jones or floyd would not be touched in against an mma fighter.

The answer cant be found in a boxing match/or mma match rather than in a complete street fight to see which would survive and the mma fighter would clearly win this since it is very close to his own sport. I don't know if you watched the fights of a clown called Datsik, you should look him up, he is hilarious. Now recently I saw something shocking, this clown knocked Arlaski out cold with a lucky punch years ago, so yeah, Arlaski isn't much. Tim proved he isn't much but Ray is a strong puncher don't forget that.
But I don't understand why this takes anything away from Fedor, he destroyed these men in a few seconds. Fedor fought against real superfighters and still is undefeated with 30 wins.
