Hi there when i uploaded my iphone video to youtube it did not fit the whole screen on the small video player like yours did..can you explain how to do that?
to edit the shakiness....just upload to imovie and there is a stabilization feature that zooms in at the appropriate points and makes it as smooth as butter!
The Videoquality of the IP4 is really good. It´s soo sad, that there is only a mono-Microfon build in. Why not Stereo, that would not be more expensive in the endprice of the phone. Notice - the C905 was the only phone with stereo-recording
I HACE A C905, BUT Y WANY IPHONE 4, I LIKE IT AND THINK TO THE PHOTOS AND VIDEO HAS TO BE FANTASTIC, DO YOU THIN IT? THE PHOTOS AND VIDEOS OF C905 IS VERY VERY GOOD BUT WHAT I DIDN`T KNOW IS THAT THE C905 IS STEREO

Iphone 4 video quality is far out the best there is at the moment on the phones market, and comes realy close to the flip cam, but the flip cam is a bit better for indoor filming...so people who have a Galaxy S or Android X, sorry folks but Iphone is the winner on this one.... just check out the video's! and compare...
Don't use the IMovie video stabilizer function it f**** up the video and makes it more shakey.. just leave it as it is and use a hardware stabilzer such as a Tripod.. Good filming though.... ;)
The video picture itself is nice, but it doesn't really matter if there's no optical image stabilizer that would reduce all the shaky unwatchable footage. But I understand it's a phone...they should focus more about making calls because you can't do that properly either...
Nice quality dude. Can I ask how you managed to upload as 720p?! I'd die to know. When I uploaded earlier (direct from my iphone 4) it ended up as 360p :(
Would love to know how you did it amigo. Looks CRISP!
@chazfest Yep no problem. As far as I know, the only way to upload to YouTube in 720p is to first download the video to your desktop from the iPhone 4. Then to upload it to YouTube from the desktop. Going directly from the iPhone drops it to 360p.
@wdwmagicvideo Nice one dude!! still have no idea how to download to my mac / desktop though!! Cheers for the tips!! Hopefully you can solve this puzzle for me :) running ios4 and snow leopard 10.6.4
@hewad1923 Cheers dude. Pixelpipe seems pretty slow since I downloaded it. Recently discovered that if you open up iPhoto after you plugged in the iPhone you can access the files from there. Much faster, and you get a copy for your hdd too :) iTunes be open first though! :)
great quality, this makes me excited to bring my iphone on my trip to canada in a few days. though i do agree that stabilization is needed badly for the next update.
@lulafula really? I'v been looking at some samples of the iphone 4 720p vs the Wave/Galaxy S 720p (cus i'm trying to choose a phone) and the iphone 4 is defiantly superior in picture quality/sound but the Wave/Galaxy S have better stabilization
Can you tell me how you uploaded this to youtube in 720p HD? I've been on the phone with Apple senior supervisors for over an hour and they can't figure it out. Whenever I upload from iPhone 4 it is in 360p with no option for 720p. How did you do this?
@feyeter Ok I've found the answer. Only the front camera is HD, not the one facing you. If the video is shot with the front camera, it must then be transfered to your computer. From there it must be uploaded to Youtube. Then in Youtube you must manually choose 720p HD.
You can not upload from the phone directly to Youtube in HD regardless of camera.
Hope this helps someone else who didn't have to spend 3 hours on the phone with Apple and end up figuring it out themselves.
Sometimes, though, after you upload it, it may take a bit longer to process the file, so you gotta wait (it might have the 360p one available to view, but may take longer for the rest to follow).
OR, you maybe have filmed a clip in 360p-ish by accident?
Remember, the front-facing camera doesn't do 720p.
amazing quality but still jerky. makes me dizzy just watching it. the night time fireworks quality is very nice though. this thing on with stabilization would be nice!

This footage would be a lot better if you took your Parkinson's meds before you started recording!!
Nice try but I guess the iPhone 4's HD video feature is wasted if you have Parkinson's disease, lol.

@tracerit Yep a stabilizer is badly needed - iPhone 5 maybe? Holding the thing still with this many pixels is close on impossible.
