My uncle and his friends have gone twice, last year and this year, and they both enjoyed the whole thing so I'm planning to come along with them with a couple of friends.

i highly recomend the empire axe with a rotor and a 68@4500 airtank. but thats just me. its so easy to service and blah blah blah

@LynxMK1 hes not wrong, it is a little steep BUT the thing to remember with paintball, the "low end" stuff... is very very low end, and if you enjoy the sport, you'll end up scrapping it within a few months. personaly, id recommend borrowing some real, mid-end kit for a few months, play as much as you can, and decide if your enjoying the sport enough to invest into it. rather than waste money on some basic gear.

failing that, try and find yourself a Proto SLG

@LynxMK1 they stopped making them now, but you should with a little effort be able to find some still, get an SLG with a Halo B (or an Invert Halo Too, depending on what you can find cheaper, theyre almost identical and perform just as good as each other), and a basic 3000psi steely tank. the whole set up shouldnt cost more than about £300 and will really rock until your ready to go one step further :)

how did you edit the last shot, looks really good, the one with him standing on a ledge with the title, what effects were involved and whats the song called?

@dwdan the song is Battle Los Angeles Hymn from the Battle LA soundtrack. The end shot wasn't done the best, I could do it better i just rushed it :/ Was pretty simple to do, I did it in After Effects. First thing was to record the shot of him standing on the ledge, I then brought the video into after effects and tracked a point on the ledge (to make it seem the text was part of the scene, but I rushed it so doesn't look too good) I just added the text and then parented it with the tracker null.
