This game was supposed to be broadcast on NBC in the East Coast (philly area). But the broadcast had technical difficulties. I was so looking forward to this game and soon as they went to the opening at 4pm a still frame of the Coliseum with 'we are having technical difficulties' popped up.

This ONE play was the BIRTH of the "Orange Crush"! Anyone who knows the history of the Broncos will know what I'm talking about. This was the play that started it all!

Interesting to hear the Raider fan perspective epster67. Believe me the Raiders caused us Bronco fans so much pain in those years so this play was extra satisfying.

I was at that game, sitting in the end zone seats right above as that play unfolded. It was surreal. I was 10 years old at the time. It broke my heart. Those were the days before those seats became the "black hole," where they are now filled with convicts released from prison on furloughs.
