If you honestly think the PS3 will live longer than six years (seven, tops), then there is no point in arguing with you.

I'm not saying it doesn't have the potential to last much longer than that, but you'd better believe that when Microsoft unveils the new X-Box in a year or so, Sony will be hot on their heels. It isn't about practicallity when it comes to lifespan with these things; it's all about profits and advertizing, and gamers want new shit every few years to be satisfied.

I never said the PS3 would stop selling altogether, but clear;y people do want new shit every few years, otherwise the PS3 wouldn't have even come out.

The PS2 is still selling because the PS3 is overpriced and the lower-cost models are no longer backwards compatible, therefore you would need to own both PS2 and PS3 in order to play all of your games.

A big problem with Metal Gear Solid 4 is that Act three moves INCREDIBLY SLOW, it's not that bad first time going through, but I just wish I could make the guy go faster, and I think they have Snake on the Bike for too long. Act 4 is also really boring, I found litterally EVERYTHING on my second play through, with almost no guards, everything is too easy, all you need is chaff.. Act 5 is both incredibly short, and has two of the most frustrating boss battles ever. (I like to play in harder modes
