It's been almost 1 year since I made this video and I stand as strong for it's cause as I did then. Hunters, Canadian Government and to all of the those who choose to support the commercial slaughter I will continue to be a huge pain in your ass until it STOPS FOREVER! All Life Matters <3
Actually romika- numbskull wasn't quite the name I wanted to use but we are in public.2nd-I'm an armchair supporter of nothing.I am a active supporter of ending this shit. 3rd-U said before there was compassion in the hunt, the hunters are all for compassion. The hunt is compassionate.Without going back & reading all of your jibberish, I believe u stated quite a few times.U keep coming here hoping to argue & insult people not going to happen & I ve heard enough from u. U didn't read the 2nd link did u? If U did & still think its ok, That there big,big problem for people. NO compassion, NO mercy! "By the time the game was over, eyeballs, teeth, fragments of skull bone & lower jawbones were scattered all over the rink "- Is this OK cause hockey's part of our heritage, too?
@Lorrri100 So one incident, does that make every sealer guilty. Most show compassion for living things, I know becasue I know them. "over the side mickey" well don't forget Newfoundlanders are great storytellers.
@romika3 dude if sealers showed the slightest bit of compasion for living things they wouldnt be beating seals (young and old) to death with clubs, they are cruel and mean, and it isnt just ONE incident its been going on for several years, its wrong
@ZZbottom230 I don't know where he gets his info hes obviously not a seal slaughterer since he doesn't even know the rules. So find out for yourself, I am 1in a 1000 videos here & made of still shots for school age kids & the less tolerant. The videos from witnesses are GRAPHIC. U should watch 10 or so & come back ROMIKA. @Lorrri100 anybody and collect videos off the web from SSCS, PETA and HSUS etc. Perhaps you should find something better to do. The harp seal is not endangered, the hunt is managed and sustainable.
@romika3 You should update your reading of rules and regulations if you are going to come here and talk about something you know obviously very little about. Numbskull.
@ZZbottom230 EXACTLY- There is no compassion involved. I thought Romika would stop defending this insane behaviour and stop trying to convert everyone decent into baby beaters by now. Commercial Hunt has been a tradition on OUR
countries shores since 1949. YES They do CLUB them, to death, crush their little skulls. With a Club, Bat, Boot, they get hooks in the chin straight out of the water while they dangle there crying, wiggling and suffering. Play hockey with their heads... i could go on!
1 beater among the pile lifted its head & started to scratch his way around, his eyeballs 2 swirling pools of blood. His lower jaw hanging down from his mouth by a thread of skin.“..kill that, will you?!”Grabbing hakipik, he didn't kill it immediately.Instead, pressed the wooden handle up against the top teeth of the suffering creature.“Bite that if you can.” The poor thing had no bottom teeth & all it could do was crawl around in the swath.So,Romika3 It is"folks like this" that R disgusting not I.
@Lorrri100 I wonder if this was the group that was paid well by PETA or HSUS (we are no sure which group) to preform for the cameras. We know that has happened.
You have images in your video that are so dated. Images selected "move the masses" to "empty" their pocket books. It is discusting how you folks prey on those who don't even know where eastern Canada is . Paul McCarthy is perhaps the best example. He was protesting the hunt, thought he was in Newfoundand when he was really in Nova Scotia. What does that tell you about the level of understanding of some of these people.

@Lorrri100 Hunting is not pretty and there is is nothing wrong with the account of the Newfoundland seal hunt 1997 (13 years ago). I is the truth of the time. An account of a working farm and slaugher house would be, much worse. The conviction of teh 10 canadian seal hunts demonstrate clealy that DFO etc are proactive enforcing and monitoring the harvest and there is nothing wrong with that.
#4: The bottom line for me is this. A) I believe we were all (animals & people) were put on this earth for a reason. With seals, they are a part of the natural aquatic food chain, polar bears, sharks, orcas, etc. B) most important it's obvious that seals are shown no compassion in this hunt, sealers admit it, then hunt supporters & govt argue this. Every living creature deserves a chance to live & the seals are not only animals treated in such inhumane ways, but this is the issue we are here for >>
@Lorrri100 Seals are shown compassion duing the hunt. Fishermen are not barbarians. The problem is PETA, SSCS, HSUS and other organizations SEEK out the mistakes, the kill that are not clean etc. Have you ever wondered why PETA, HSUS and SSCS continue to use images that are over 25 years old and continue to use the "white coat" as the primary image on their web pages and posts. There is no need for me to provide the answer for this it is obvious.
#3:contd from below: the global changes in their habitat or why the ones that survive come back to find their pups or parents nothing but a dead bloody carcass. There are articles on the potential use of birth control in female seals. @Lorrri100 What are the souces of your notes. If they come from secondary sources inparticular the data from PETA, HSUS and the many pages they are linked then they are invalid. :( I realize, this issue is one that will unfortunately always divide this country. I've not been on the front of any of the hunts myself but I find it hard to believe any organization fighting for the right to live life & humane beliefs as their goal to threaten anyone.
