Evil stems from the Roman Catholic Church's grasp on society. This year Lord Narayan is going to start a verbal war for what is right in the hearts of man.
the war still continues and it's name is the war on drugs. protestans are against, and catholics are for drugs. before the war on drugs it was the war against booze, and again it was in affords to destroy the catholics. for all those who care to get high and have sex with lookers please join the catholics to stop the war on drugs. for a true hero dies a patron while a fool dies with riches. Amen.
You can see the difference with those idol worshipping Catholics - Statues of the saints! Saying this jokingly of course, since I was sent to Catholic school as a child & had a couple of my own favs - St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of animals and St. Jude, patron Saint of lost causes. One helping the animals & the other helping people. Now I'm without belief in either, but still have a heart for pets & people, just the same.
I disagree with daryldarko. This was an excellent vid.
To me there is a difference in the Catholic Cemetery with respect to statuary from many decades ago to the statuary being erected in more recent times. The more recent statuary looks almost Hindu in flavor.
I like the concept/idea here a lot. It certainly is a theme that is played out in cemeteries all across America and Western Europe alike. And I mean no offense by the following, but I just don't think your production quality matches that which you've done in some of your other videos. I guess I'm hoping to see more distinct representation of the different sides with more explanation through the video. As is, it seems like a clumsy rock video that doesn't really hit it's vital culminating point.
No offense taken whatsoever, daryldarko. I happen to agree but this video was made on the quick with a great many changes forced upon me in editing. I filmed with specific songs in mind but subsequent to filming I discover that one of the songs I wanted to use was under the Warner label and could therefore not be used. But it was never intended to be anything other than just some cemetery images with music playing.
Probably. I know of a funeral home that cut off feet so the body would fit into a smaller, cheaper casket. Then again, they did that without anyone's permission and got in trouble for it.
The story of the music is in the description box. Eddie Rabbitt is buried in the Rabbitt family plot which contains his father, mother and also Eddie's two year old son that died two years prior to Eddie. Most of the Rabbitt graves mention being Irish so, you know, it was an Irish Catholic thing, I guess. I don't know if Eddie was "devout" or not.
Having lived in Northern Ireland I know too well about religious sectarianism. I remember, as the peace process was beginning to take hold they interviewed an old woman on the catholic side. She said "Over the years missiles have been thrown over the divide, we knew things had changed when instead of throwing quality tins of beans, they started throwing budget like the rest of us!" At least your two sides aren't doing much damage to each other...
I knew a husband and wife in Belfast from a discussion board. They visited a mutual friend here a few years ago and they stopped by for a visit. She had been disabled since childhood as the innocent victim of a nearby car bombing. She said people will not ask directly whether you are Catholic or Protestant but will try to find out by asking questions such as where your children attend school since the schools tend to be divided along religious lines.

I wonder if I can be cut in half and have each part buried on a side?

I think the music followed the theme pretty well, but yeah, sweet leaf would have worked great!
Amazing that even in death there remains such a silly division, just dig a hole and chuck me in!

I'm going with cremation myself. I don't want to feed the funeral rape industry anymore than is completely necessary.

Oh yeah, this is just my game!
I wonder if Eddie Rabbit chose to be buried in the Catholic cemetary?
Most excellent music!
