This is very boring. They haven't made anything of importance since Ultra a record they felt had much to prove since Wilders departure. And Ultra suceeded in doing that, at least a major part of it. Now they're rich, old and content, and meets every now and then with large time in between to show each other some ideas. Depcehe Mode is today what all aging band inevitably becomes: a business project. And as always...it's sad.

Sorry guys it's really time to disband the band.

@VisionOfTJ I would agree that this isn't the most EXCITING song, but I think it's more of a case of this being a weak first single off of SOTU than anything. Take another listen and you might just agree that are some very strong songs on that album. I, for one, very much look forward to the future of Depeche Mode. But then again, I DESPERATELY wish that Wilder would return. Not likely, but a girl can dream.
