  • I'm using it with my 5th graders. Thank you for continuing to post these!

  • waqtching in school rightnow

  • I'm an undergrad physics student and this helped me understand work better. haha

  • better than my teacher

  • Nice, simple, direct, entertaining. This is very informative, even for the college level (we are assigned to watch this for class!)

  • This is slightly misleading. There is zero work, but only in terms of being able to count units of work in terms of the car moving some distance. Energy is most certainly being expended, but you'd count the units of work done in some other way, in terms of the heat expended from the person exerting their muscles. I just don't want u to think that b/c you don't see something moving, heat isn't being radiated from the person's body... Energy doesn't stop, it just can't be counted up using the car.

  • @ion010101

But the exertion of energy does not necessarily equal work. Like the formula said, work=force x distance. So

to say that there is zero work "but only in terms of being able to count units of work in terms of the car moving some distance" is like saying there is no heat at 0 degrees Kelvin but only in terms of there not being an type of movement even at a molecular level.....you're saying that it fits the definition but only if you're following the definition.

  • Eureka! really cracked me up watching this in the early 80s!

  • Is it okay if I get paid by the joule, instead of by the hour?

  • In year 10 and my physics teacher loves these!

  • Man, im like 15 and lovin this XD

  • we can learn english

  • i feel so weird watching this to study for my exams...

    but it helps!

  • what grade level are these videos targeted towards?

  • @MXZCharlie For children, they only can pay attention to cartoons. For middle and high schoolers, they focus on force of gravity and math. I think it focuses more on high school. I never took physics in high school.

  • @bubblebear83 man im in 6th grade anyways we took all of this i n 5th grade why do highschool people still take this

  • @bubblebear83 Yeah Im watching these for physics tomorrow and Im in college lol I didnt take it in high school either.

  • I wonder how much mass all the dead humans have added to the earth?

  • @xgipsonx None. All the various chemical elements which went into creating humans on the earth had to first come from the earth. We're just products of recycling.

  • waw !!! that's great only.

    Very well explained !!! <3

  • We saw this one in our science class. Those people look like ducks!

  • 4:38 sounded like shit

  • LOL

  • This shit is confusing lol

  • Man I love these! Thanks for loading them!

  • vote number 14 MALTA!!!

    what if we -by- chiara

  • How come it says "An error occured, please try again later" All the time I upload it?

  • How can you upload the video from youtube?????

    please answer me someone:)))

  • Strange, it stops loading at 0:36, every time I refresh...

  • this reminds me of the beginning of The Best of Both Worlds in Star Trek TNG where data is playing poker with Einstine, Newton, and Stephan Hawking on the holodeck

  • thanks for uploading the video helped me alot

  • is there an episode on momentum?

  • Yes. The first ep. is about inertia which sort of follows up to momentum. Watch episode 1. You'll learn about momentum in less than 5 minutes.

  • excellent! :)

  • i like the clown.

    .........GO "AHS"!!

  • AWESOME :D man it's too helpful...

can you find for 10th-12th grade (^^)

  • is there any form of show like this but for 6th-12th grade?

  • I do not know on top of my head at this time.

  • Humorous.

  • It's weight watchers because the force is of a given magnitude and the number of kg in this case is also given.
