@SSEnrich You can drink a "Fernet con Coca" (Fernet & Cola, 30% fernet 70% coke, lots of ice), 1 or 2 glasses to chill out after work, really relaxing, and tasty (fernets bitterness and cokes sweetness are the perfect match)

Se toma rebajado siempre, tiene mucho alcohol y se usa como base.
Es muy rico cuando se lo mezcla con un Cinzano Rosso, y se lo baja con agua tónica, muy refrescante. Pero no hay que pasarse con la medida de fernet.

1) We put ice on a glass 2) Add 1, 2 or 3 fingers of Fernet 3) Fill with Coca-Cola.
I like it really smooth and sweet, so I add only 1 finger or finger and a half of Fernet.
Please, prepare it this way and then u'll tell me.

It's important to point out that Italian Fernet is different from the Argentinian one. The former is more bitter, whereas the latter is a little sweeter. You might have tried the Italian version with Coke... that's why you didn't like it at all.
er actually I love it with cola, its just an aquired taste, im from the UK but been in Argentina for a while, well I suppose we English would drink anything alcoholic!
