Yes, the Del-Vikings did, but a lot of groups covered a lot of groups, so you'll find dozens of versions of the same songs. It's pretty cool. Lots of versions of Gloria, Blue Velvet, and many others. Enjoy!

The del vikings took this soung from the Spidels and re releasd it as there own. This was done alot in this time becuase black groups could not get air play on white radio. this was covering. It only lasted until the raido lisners found out about the black groups.

Clarence Quick wrote this song while in the air force with the rest of the group in 1956 norman wright was the original lead of the Del Vikings ,they formed in Pitts.P.A. at their A.F. base . there were many covers by other groups ie spidels, federals. get the sheet music and you will see C.Quick is the composer
