Heheh. Best Friends works for me with OnBoard graphics, but ever since I installed my video card, I get an "Illegal Memory Violation" error or something like that. Luckily though, I recorded the title music before I installed the video card. If you want an MP3, I can send you a link through a message. c:
I remember playing this as a demo from my Toy Story PC game, and I'd have no idea what the hell was going on O_O just that Donald turned into a ninja or something...
Around 3:44. Do u know how to get outside to get that floating angel item? I can't remember what it's called and I can't remember how to get out there. LOL
I just installed windows 98 se on virtual pc. I got everything running fine. I still have the legitimate Toy Story and Cold Shadow CDs. They install and play great, but the music is absent. However the sound effects still work. Did you have this same problem?
@APfilmmakers check if your PC plays CD-Audio music fine. Not sure how does it work now, but I remember back in the day the CD-ROM drive had to be hooked up to the sound card or mother board with a specific cable in order to hear audio from the CD...
I placed the video in the audio section of the timeline, muted the video in the video section, zoomed in on the timeline about 3 times, split the audio track whenever it started lagging, and inched it forward.
I use Microsoft's Virtual PC 2007. It's free if you want it. You just need an original boot CD of the operating system you want to install. You can find tutorials on the net on how to set a virtual OS up.
I still have this game. It's really one of my faves still. I wish i could play it on vista.. and I wouldn't know how virtual pc works xp

Seeing that "Best Friends" icon on desktop gave me a flashback.
I instantly remembered the menu tune.
Gosh.

No, sorry. I've never owned the full game, and haven't played the demo enough to learn its secrets. Sorry to disappoint you.

Oh this is epic! I used to play this game on my old PC.
I bought it again recently for my SNES but its not quite the same because the music and the levels are a little different. =(

great, I love this game. I tried to get virtual PC on my Vista, but I don't understand how to install this.

@HoggerTheHedgehog
There's a couple videos right here on Youtube that show you how to install an OS on Virtual PC. Just search for tutorials. :D

are you running this on 98 within vista?
mooseboy101 2 years ago
Close. It's Windows 95 running in Vista. Nice guess, though.
Zuon94 2 years ago
@Zuon94 how can you do that?

I love this game. I used to have this game on my old pc. What a good game! But difficult too, at least to what I remember.

Yeah, it may not be a walk in the park, but it sure is fun. Thanks for the comment.

I used to have this game, god damn was it hard x__x Music creeped the fuck out of me too, and still does.
Gotta play it again some day
LeonSKennedy828 2 years ago
I kind of like the music for the first level, myself.

Ahh the good old 90's, when game demos were actually worth playing.

Yes it is. If if says Virtual PC in the title, then it is most likely the case.

LOL. Sorry, I was up late and tired ^^
