Most of the 'turbulence' in this clip was on the part of the cameraman failing to hold the camera still. NO notable wing stressing was observed.

Great point you make, all of my flights are on A319's and A320's (Spirit and Jetblue) and have been through lots of turbulence and believe me that the wings tell a story. Especially on the Airbuses which the wings are purposely made less rigid than Boeings to combat turbulence, you can really see wing stress on an Airbus during even minor turbulence.

I was in a plane travelling over the rockies from Vancouver to Calgary a month or so ago, and we hit a huge sudden pocket of turbulence that dropped us (what felt like) a foot down, and which the pilot had to basically dive down to escape! It was awesome! (and a little bit messy with assorted things flying all over the place)

you're kidding me, there are no missiles. That's a passenger plane. Like pasoplaya said, "nice a320" which is a model of Airbus. Those square things are not turbines, they are hinges for the flaps. The SINGLE 'round' turbine on each side are closer to the body. They also sit forward on the wings putting them just out of site from where this man is sitting. And don't be dissin mexico you guys, at least they make some good tequila heh heh.
