The way I understand it he's marrying two new wives and his old wife is pregnant. And since they never mentioned whether the weddings were for his daughters or for his "future wives", then it's open to interpretation. Obviously, this fact has been left out on purpose. Commercial companies screen commercials before airing them, to make sure that they are NO DOUBLE MEANINGS. Polygamy may be "banned" in official papers, but we all know how much the LDS enjoy it...

And ha! You automatically assume that when the BoM says 'steel', it means modern steel. No, King Tut was buried with a "steel" dagger. Steel is mentioned in the "Odyssey", getting into the creation of it. The OT mentions steel 4 times, "bows of steel" it says. The BoM steel was created in 900 BC.

In Hebrew it means learned soul, and in Latin it means kind soul.

@doctorshifty83 we do it only if it is something extreame and sometimes if you take the lessons from the missionaries and speak to a bishop you might be able to rejoin depending on what happened i believe i could be wrong so dont quote me best thing to do if you want to get all the details just right is to go to a local mormon church or find soe mormon missionaries and ask them questions they will give you the right answer

Roman Catholic priests do not marry because Jesus Christ did not marry. It represents self-sacrifice, a withdrawing away from the world, a way to place all of one's focus on Jesus Christ and His Church.

I remember my first time going to an LDS service, one thing I noticed was No offering plate being passed around(You wont find that in to many churches) The next time I met with the Elders, I asked about it and offered my tithing to them, they couldnt except it, I Insisted they take it and give it to someone who can take it, but they wouldn't it take it. Of course the church had to renounce it; the Edmunds-Tucker Act of 1887 permitted the Federal Government to imprison polygamous members and seize the church's property. Giving it up was the only choice Wilford Woodruff had in order to save the church.
