I did get what all the fuzz is about BOV's all the time. The freaking sound your hearing is the air hitting back at the turbine blades just destroying the turbo.

the sound youre actually hearing is boost being vented through the blow off valve. if bov's and wastegates didnt exist, turbo cars would fall apart pretty quickly. without a bov or wg, the sound youre thinking of would be compressor surge.
