Why do you have a level 50 Kabuto?

Oh man, Pokemon Stadium 2. I only got to play it for a week at the hospital, but it was amazing.

The graphics may have improved, the game mechanics may have improved (by a huge amount), but for some reason, Stadium 2 is special in a way that the other games aren't. I can't figure out why, but there's something magical about this game.

Speaking of good N64 games and Pokemon, do you plan on playing Pokemon Snap? :P

@MageKnight404 Thats what I thought, he sounded familiar, back then. Man, I'm sharp considering I haven't played this since like late 2001...still best PKMN Stadium game, although they did take down some 2nd level attacks in power...Flamethrower, Razor Leaf, and Ice Beam.

Uhhh... Flamethrower and Ice Beam have been the same in EVERY generation. They've always been 95 power and 100 accuracy with 10% infliction of a status.

Yep last Generation 2 Pokemon game I owned in exception to Crystal of course. Pokemon Stadium 2 was better and I got it towards the end of 2000 with money I got from birthday, Christmas ectera. The gold and silver cartrige was the first of its kind, although Majora's mask and DK64 also had colored disks.

Hey, I own this game.

Don't remember how long it took me to beat the whole thing.

I kinda wish that some of these features here, such as the Mini-games and the Gym Leaders Battles, could return in the 5th generation console game.

Gotta say that I love the Music that plays when you face Earl's students.

It's dark because I just unlocked the Rival fight, but haven't cleared it yet(heck, I haven't -tried- the Rival fight yet on this cart).

Aw one of my favorite pokemon games, being able to choose nearly all the pokemon at the time is way better then the limited choices of BR, and of course the minigames are fun and the gym leader castle is great.

@ZigTheHunter I never got Battle Revolution...hell I never touched Pokemon after this...I completely dropped the genre after Generation 3 but I still liked G2 and 1 just because it was simple and less complicated. The basis of age and I just got bored with it, I have it so ingrained in my head what to do and how to do it because I have played it so much.

Pokemon really don't need to have moves the same type as them..

Pokemon emerald, I took Treecko, the grass starter, and evolved him throughout the game... at some point, he learned earthquake, and kicked fire tpye ass.

@towndrunk23 A normal set up is one same type, for a beast sweeper move [X1.5 Damage], one weakness coverer, and 2 of your choice. Ergo Leaf Blade to thwack someone in the face, and Earthquake for any fool that tried to take you on with Fire!

Never beat the game, i remember the CPU had ridiculous amount of luck (4 Time getting hit by DynamicPunch, 5 Times flinched in a row with headbutt etc). It was a fun game and probably better than PBR since that game forces you to double battle and is just pure battling, no story or anything else.

I agree, PS1 and PS2 are the best, all the other ones dont have the same feel/charm to it. If only could get a true sequel to it, but this time with CUSTOM rentals. And maybe a way like transfer backs to read your cartridge in real time and such and not just copy it all over in one go. And do away with the trainer cards from pbr or least let more than one person/card to use same poke. And full customizable rules/battle conditions. Not just one or two options only.
