Itchy, I have been on a bike since I was ten years old. Now I am fifty six. I know what you think about the yuppie wanna bees but be open minded. They may love bikes and all the things you do as well. Where else can they start out and be old timers eventually? They strive for the same thing we do but are not mechanics or hands on people. Few are these days. Cars and bikes have fuel injection and computer chips now. They may have other qualities.

real biker's dont need "custom chrome", skulls, flames, "ape hangers", or the name brand of harley on all your gear and personal clothing. also, the highest accident rates are those of middle aged men buying harleys for their first bike. young "yuppie" bikers have faster response time, and safer more reliable bikes than harleys. and, if your a real biker, why bash a younger person who "spent alot of money", all they want to do is get into riding? plus, harleys are real expensive and unreliable.
If you had watched any of my other vids... you'll see I am only bashing those "middle aged men" as you speak of. It's all in fun and my hope is that they will learn to ride safely. I also see many of them crashing and burning.

@stewartx5 Could'nt have put it better myself! I dont wear leathers as i dont want an animal to die to save my skin. Dont like group riding. Dont do beer,dope or hog roasts. I will help any biker in trouble whether he's on a race rep, harley, BSA, or whatever. I do ride all year round and will to the day i cant or im dead.

Its these people didnt care earlier, now that they see what freedom could be.... but, they want to be rebels and stay on the good side! I think their confused:) But thats not what its about..... its about feeling the wind and being free, and STICKEN It to The MAN!!! Ya to the yuppies:)

It doesn't matter if you're riding for 3 year or 30years, It doesn't matter if you ride a heavy cruiser or a sport motorcycle, It doesn't matter if you gave 500 or 20.000E, what matters is that the air that hits your face is the same with everybody else. If you understand that then you are a true motorcyclist. Safe riding and always standing my friends :)

A "real biker" is someone who IS riding a motorcycle. Once you step off the bike you are a "real pedestrian". Unless of course you're one of those people who eat up Harley Davidson's corporate marketing and try to make it into some kind of religious philosophy about how to live their lives. Then you're just a "real idiot".

You are destroying your own "individuality" by conforming to a standard hyped, mass produced, and sold by Harley Davidson. If you were a real biker you would have had no reason to even explain what it is to be a biker because you would know you are one and would know one when you saw one. Oftely pompus to make the claim that you are a "Biker" when you seem to fit the exact description of what you hate. If you all go your own way, then why do you ride in formation? And what is gained from countless freeway miles? I'd be willing to bet that most of us on here clock more a year then you do, and we do it in the twisties, and the cities, rain or shine. Yea, I ride a suzuki (an sv650 to be exact), and I wear full gear, so I guess I'm not a biker. Hopefully I never will be.

You should really think about what you spout off about before mentioning the POS bike you ride! My HD Street Glide would lay the smack down on that bike in a heartbeat! Oh, and the comment on freeway miles...we ride because we are free and not weekend rocket racers. I very seriously doubt you ride everyday rain or shine... what a putz!

real biker's dont need "custom chrome", skulls, flames, "ape hangers", or the name brand of harley on all your gear and personal clothing. also, the highest accident rates are those of middle aged men buying harleys for their first bike. young "yuppie" bikers have faster response time, and safer more reliable bikes than harleys. and, if your a real biker, why bash a younger person who "spent alot of money", all they want to do is get into riding? plus, harleys are real expensive and unreliable.

If you had watched any of my other vids... you'll see I am only bashing those "middle aged men" as you speak of. It's all in fun and my hope is that they will learn to ride safely. I also see many of them crashing and burning.
As for reliable... my 99 has over 50,000 with no major problems.

Hey silent munky... you are dead wrong! If you look at the stats the majority of injured or killed riders range from 16-28! Obviously you have no idea what you are talking about. I've seen many kids being scraped up off the ground doing stupid shit on crotch rockets to show off to thier friends. My son rides crotch rockets and is a very good rider, but does his crazy stunts on a closed course where he wont kill anyone else or himself. Unreliable Harley's? Tell that to my FXR with 150K on it!

It's fine if the so-called "real bikers" want to have some sort of prerequisites and criteria a person needs to meet before they can meander into a "biker bar". The problem is, that if they want to impose criteria and select which people *belong* and which people *don't*, doesn't that whole thought process thumb it's nose at what they profess to be "about"?

Yeah.....I guess as long as you get to dictate to others how much "freedom" they should be entitled to.

Some folks spend way too much time trying to define themselves and feel special about who they are. If the so-called "real bikers" profess to be about "freedom", perhaps they shouldn't spend so much time dictating to others who belongs in the "biker bar", or who attends the rally or pig roast.
I ride, but probably wouldn't meet many of the "real biker's" other criteria. Next time I bump into a *real biker* at a rally, I'll be sure and ask if it's okay that I'm out trying to be "free" too. ;-)
