  • @theallenshafer

    Can't even write correctly?

  • @theallenshafer Thats hilarious. Telling someone not to post until they get better yet you cant even spell and you post the comment.

  • I have a shuriken from Carbon for sell if some 1 is intresed give me a msg i can send the prints !

  • ...wierdo

  • @hondacr125racer

lol faaaiiil you write it as weirdo

  • @ITzRobinx i care so much

  • good shurkens should be able to go through 3 boxes those r probably mall shurikens from the mall ._.

  • @Stick341

You mean a japanese mall? Even then it's hard, most shuriken I have aren't sold anywhere outside of japan and some aren't sold at all : )

I don't have any american shuriken, I only have traditional shuriken

  • @crazyseba666 your good but you should probably get a cameraman

  • @Stick341 let me sound this out for you you can buy shurikens at the mall that r just fer show! and than you can order expensive good shuriken off the internet! doy!

  • There's a very good reason why I put these videos under entertainment. That's what they are for, they're not educational. Other thrower can look at them and compare to their throwing, or they can maybe even learn a little bit. I'm not just talking about the throwing itself, but history behind the shuriken is also important. Knowing that throwing at 18m is possible can inspire somebody to try it.

As for other people they can enjoy the rare skill of shuriken throwing.

  • it harder to throw into wood but i use a foam mat to throw my shuriken into and i also some time use wood

  • The material you throw at doesn't even matter, the throw does. If the throw is good, you can throw at anything, even a solid brick with the right shuriken( Suzuki san shows it) If you throw at a box and the shuriken goes completely through it, it's a good throw for example.

The good thing with wood is that your throw has to be good to stick in and wood makes a typical sound, fromwhich you can tell if it's a good throw or not. At very long range this helps, because you don't see the shuriken.

  • ok take that back you fairly good just didn't watch the whole vid

  • but still kind of awesome

  • list of wrongs

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

    1)ur position

    2)ur stance

    3)ur throwing

    4)ur target (lol btw)

and biggest of all #5)ur idea. shouldve known that. always throw at wood.

    thumbs up if u agree.

  • @blakhawk999 If you want to correct me so much, you have to prove to me you actually have shuriken throwing skill or else I just don't care :p

It's purely experimental, but it's still ok for a beginner to start with throwing at boxes.

You don't always have to throw at wood btw. Wood just ensures you have a good penetration or not, all my other vids are at wood anyway.

  • @crazyseba666 i wish i can but i dont know where you live a, and i dont have a video camera of any kind.

  • @crazyseba666 ok, blakhawk999 relax, if you criticize try to be genital about it give direction and help the guy out then you'll possibly achieve something. ok , crazyseba666 He has some points to take look into to help you throw better, Even if 1 and 2 are the same as well as 4 and 5. First, put the camera down and prop it up somewhere otherwise your stance and your video are gana suck. 2nd look up some video of professionals and watch there stance and mimic it. then you'll throw much better.

  • @bleachdeathnoteblood

You can't learn from youtube, and mimicing is not the correct way to learn.

Each weapon can be handled differently, depending on who is using the weapon.

For example: I had to use another way to do hold a naginata than my own sensei, simply because I'm large and he wasn't.

In shuriken throwing it's amazingly simple: you throw, if it sticks well it's perfect.

There are no professional shuriken throwers, only experienced throwers.

  • The only way to throw better is by training more.

Do I look like I need help? :p

You know it's funny, the experienced throwers in youtube (only a few) don't dare to say I'm bad or anything, yet people with no experience whatsover on shuriken throwing start critisizing me lol.

If a guy with shuriken throwing videos (and he' good) give me advice: I'll gladly listen.

If a guy with no video, who I can't trust gives me dumb advice: I have no reason to listen.

  • @crazyseba666 ok first you say"You can't learn from youtube, and mimicing is not the correct way to learn." then you say "you throw, if it sticks well it's perfect.

There are no professional shuriken throwers" i throw and it sticks i can throw from 20 feet now and did it by watching and watching and developing an understanding of the physics but now you are saying i can not learn this way. dont contradict yourself please yes ive watched your vids and your good i never denied that

  • @bleachdeathnoteblood I'll clarify

Professional doesn't apply to shuriken throwers, it's not a job, it's actaully only a part of our training, a small part in fact. That's why experienced applies better.

I only put shuriken throwing on youtube ,because it's rare, even more rare to see throwing at 17-18m, it's also rare to own this many shuriken. I have no need to put my other skills on youtube.

I have had a minimum of training in shuriken jutsu, but I've had to learna lot by myself.

  • Watching the videos on youtube only helps a little bit, but most of the work is done at home. Learn with a sensei and you'll do the techniques 100% correctly.

Learn alone and in most cases you won't prgress very fast.

Now how good you throw will prove my point. Post vids and me and others will comment on how good or bad you throw.

A good thrower can throw at many different ranges btw.

  • A real experience thrower/real sensei s always the best person to learn from.

In my case for example, I'm quite large, most of my sensei or friends don't work out like I do. This also has a big impact on my shuriken throwing. An experienced thrower will know this ofcourse. A beginner trying to immitate me won't throw well. If he's normally build, he should use a different throwing technique. A sensei would immediately tell him how to throw correctly.

  • thats mah house u were throwing dem knives at!

  • you suck

  • i seen a almb or someting man

  • they really were farmers and there are many historical documents on this. not all farmers. Yes samurai were also... i have a friend in collage taking calsses on antient oriental history... samurai worked with ninjas so it makes sense

  • @thunderhorse1000

Truth is, I know a guy (scottbaiosdead)

until now he's been very accurate with his history, he has been backed up by Japanese sources and he has found so many wrogn assumptions on ninjas, like a ninja to never existed, at least there are no sources to suggest it did.

Please give written sources (japanese, not american) to confirm whether ninjas were farmers or not.

  • You know, there's a HUGE difference between anime or hollywood ninjas and real ninjas.

To begin with real ninjas died out centuries ago.

Most injutsu sensei just died out somehow without spreading their knwoledge.

Koga ryu ninjutsu completely died out for example, you'll still find americans who claim to do koga ryu

Ryu disappears and suddenly re-appears in USA? lol...BS!

The reality is just completely different from fiction.

Samurai weren't hated enemies of ninjas, some samurai were ninjas!

  • your good with shuriken...

i am new to shurikenjutsu-but i kick ass in kenjutsu =]

  • @xVentaSx

oh, and to thunderhorse1000, ninjas only

use kunai when in disguise:as a substitute for bo-shuriken

  • @xVentaSx

It's hard to believe you do any kenjutsu. Since it's very close related to shuriken, most dojos who teach how to use a sword also teach how to throw shuriken as well as other weapons.

Furthermore I don't think most ninjas carried a kunai, most of them did carry a sword, mot probably also carried bo and hira shuriken.

Btw , samurai also carried shuriken, in fact you'll find most of my shuriken in "samurai" dojos.

  • @crazyseba666 i know,ive done my homework

and ive traind in kenjutsu for eight years- all i know well at the moment is throwing my sword- which i dont often practice because my sword is expensive

  • @xVentaSx

I don't do it often either, because it's not the point to do so lol. It's purely experimental.

  • youre not an idiot sorry bout the ass comment... but ther are realy kunai that werent based of naruto at all, the historicaly accurate ones were blunt and meant for paralyzing

  • @thunderhorse1000

kunai were never ment to be thrown, that's just in anime, it could serve other purposes, like stabbing if sharpened. But it certainly wasnt one of those weapons every ninja carried.

Animes just tend to exagerate things.

  • oh another thing i learned was that kunai were digging tools to start with because the origional ninjas were farmers

  • @thunderhorse1000

First part si correct, it was a digging tool, but there's no proof to suggest that ninjas were farmers.

Do you seriously think that farmers suddenly transformed into killing machines?

Some samurai were secretly ninjas, it explains how ninjas used the same weapons,

katana, shuriken, etc are all samurai weapons to begin with.

btw the so called "ninja to" may have never existed, as no proof of it has ever been found, ninjas swords were the same as samurai.

  • Comment removed

  • Kirisiuy

  • can i ask where you got your shuriken? i have kunai but the site i got them from doesn't seem to sell shuriken.

  • he made them, if you want to buy shuriken my store korisuya(.)com sells them

  • Loved the video, it was interesting to watch. Though when I read through the comment arguement going on I can't help but laugh. It really is petty to argue over this stuff, my point of view is if you don't like something just be quiet and sit tight unless you have evidence to prove your right. I'm not saying either of you are wrong, it's just idiotic to argue over something like this. If you both like to throw shuriken, you should give each other tips, not fight.

Just my opnion, dont hate me :(

  • Well that's exactly the problem, a lot of people here don't throw shuriken, probably have never even seen a shuriken in real life and probably don't have the same years of experience I have in shuriken throwing. Yet they love trying to "correct" me.

Like the last one, Buuub08 ,ask any other shuriken thrower, he's got no idea what he's talking about.

You're kinda similar, but you're not being an ass.

  • There's overwhelming evidence, if you speak and read Japanese, you can get books about shuriken and you'll be able to ask Japanese experts.

If you know a japanese sensei you'll will also be able to back up what I'm saying.

You can simply trust me or you can start looking for info to confirm my evidence, but in both casses you'll see I'm correct.

You can laugh about it, I actually laught about it too ^^, but I don't like when people say BS and they expect others to believe them.

  • That's cool ^_^

I have never thrown a real shuriken, but I have seen one, once. Honestly, I think it would be so awesome if I were to learn how, I doubt anyone will hand a shuriken to a fourteen year old though...(I'm aware my profile says I'm 16, shhhh)

I'm not talking about naruto ones either, real ones. Unfortunetly that's never going to happen so I'll stick with having no life and living on anime and cool vids. It's cool you can do what you can do, keep practicing! ^_^

  • Don't worry about age, 14 is fine for shuriken throwing. If you lived nearby I would have no problem teaching you if you showed some form of respect and maturity.

Shuriken are not as deadly as movies want them to be. It's a fun hobby to throw shuriken.

Try to find a Japanese martial art school most of them have shuriken among their weapons.

I also watch anime and cool vids, I wasn't that differnt from you, I started throwing shuriken by coincidence and now I simply love it.

  • @crazyseba666

That's cool, I'm not aware of any Japanese Martial Art schools anywhere near me, unfortunetly, though I am working on convincing my parents to let me learn piano since I can't play clarinet any more since I dropped out of band. I get the mature comment from people a lot... someone asked me if I was 16-20 once, it was ackward to say the least. No offense to you, but I think throwing Senbon would be in a way more fun, I like needles, not drug use or anything, I just like needles ^^

  • how did you made the bo needle shurikens tell me please

  • You just need a grinder , a piece of metal and a saw to cut the piece : D

I don't make shuriken making tutorials, sry

  • screw buuube i thought u were good

  • Well various people who also trow shuriken, including bujinkan sensei agree with me and you.

I'm not the best shuriken thrower, but I'm certainly not a bad thrower lol.

  • You are most definitely an idiot who knows neither Japanese nor Chinese language, culture, history or anything about those nations/countries/people.

I wont buy that you study the history and origins of Shuriken, you just proved that you dont know anything about them at all, apart from what you can dig up in the internet.

I bet youre one of those who think Karate is a 3000 year old authentic Japanese MA.

  • Nobody will disagree with me on the fact that I shouldn't waste anymore time with an immature idiot like you.

You're just going further and further in your hole full of crap...

    *blocked obviously*

btw bujinkan sensei and various other people who do know what they're talking about support me, nobody cares about what you think.

  • I dont keep repeating anything, i just stated the fact. You do the same. I do know what im talking about, trust me on that one.

Allow me to correct you, "shuriken are only restricted to some japanese MA"? ah? Now i wonder whos the one who doesnt know much about it?

The term "Japanese MA" is incorrect by itself. As well as Shuriken are not Japanese, but as many things Japan adopted from China, it was brought up to a new level and the actual origins were forgotten or simply ignored.

  • Ye ok, 2 schools, in Japan, youre a member on none, since youre in Belgium?

About being older, dunno 'bout that, you dont seem older than 15 or 16.

BTW, there is a difference between "shuriken throwers", as you call em and one of which you would be, and people who actually take it seriously with MA.

  • Sorry to say this, but you really seem to be just a ninja fanboy, like the wast majority of "shuriken throwers".

  • You are NOT mature and you are certainly NOT a smart guy who does know anything about shuriken !

You don't have do be into MA to throw shuriken, it does apply for me, but I only talk about MA with people right in front of me like any of the sensei I've had so far.

I don't just throw shuriken I also study their history and origins, most shuriken were used by samurai btw. you're too stupid to know that...

  • You keeping embarrasing yourself lol

Negishi ryu is just one school ,one style represented in many other Japanese MAs, I don't even need to go further in this...

There's no sane person that will think you're mature after reading your comments, same applies to the real world. You have very poor social skills, probably have no friends, lonely individuals like you tend to think they know it all and they even invent things to prove they're right.

  • Just the word shuriken is japanese not chinese.

There are so many shuriken and just a few have some origins in china ,but that certainly can't be applied to all. Saying that all shuriken come form china is just pure BS, various orgins have been confirmed and they're not situated in China.

Very simply put shuriken are throwing knives/blades only restricted to Japanese MA,

you can find various throwing knives in other MA, but they certainly won't be called shuriken.

  • LMAO!

Whats sad is your attempts to insult me.

Oh ive thrown plenty of Shuriken, probably more than since im in the arts my whole life, and im probably older than you as well, im just not interested in Japanese adoptions of Chinese martial arts.

Actually you can throw shuriken as far as you like, as long as you can hit, there is no 10m limit. 10m is simply what most can handle.

Im commenting this vid, and i say what i see, and i see nothing special.

  • These is no shuriken school, true that since you cant train weapons without the learning the basics first (although thats what youre probably doing), there are schools were shuriken is a part of training, although you can find individual instructors that will help with nothing but shuriken training. However learning on your own or with an instructor, assuming you find one, youll still suck because you will still lack the basics and understanding of MA.

  • I checked another vid of yours, the 15m double-pointed. "miss on purpose"?alright...

But let me tell you something, even if you wouldnt "miss on purpose" so just others can hear the difference (why???), its still nothing uber amazing.

Dont get me wrong m8, i do NOT want to offend you in any way, like youre trying. You do a great job here, but dont get full of yourself, since youre obv

  • ...obviously thinking that youre the very best or something idk. Youre not, in fact, youre not even good at it from the MA point of view.

  • Why you do have to keep repeating that you have done martial arts your entire life? Should I have to doubt ?You find the need to keep repeating yourself, that points towards something else...

I can't be offended by what you're saying.

When I read your comments all I can think is: this guy really has no clue what's he's saying and he's a very bad liar.

  • You say that because you do MA you also have experience with shuriken, however shuriken are only restricted to some japanese MA. If you want to prove you've throwing shuriken name the school or ryu...you even say that you're not interested in Japanese adoptions of Chinese martial arts (that contradicts you and even makes you sound racist)

and age doesn't even matter (I'm older than you btw) ,you don't teach bujutsu to little kids...

You probably barely know anything about shuriken.

  • and btw there is a shuriken school, If you knew this you would have said: you're wrong there is a shuriken school called negishi ryu, but a guy like you doesn't know that...

Who should I trust : a person who has no clue what's he's saying (you) or other shuriken throwers and bujinkan sensei?

It's there any point in continueing this conversation?

  • Cant say that youre skilled nor that you know how to throw shuriken, but hey, its a start, keep at it. And dude, you need an instructor if you wanna get really good. I mean no offense, its just that many of your throws fail, that indicates that you are learning by yourself and probably missed the very basics and started to imitate what you saw other do, right?

  • okay, so throwing a shuriken at 17 m takes no skill? You realise that very few are able to do that?

Why do I get the feeling that you've never thrown shuriken?

  • You mean the 15m ones? Id say few can do hanten-daho bo-shuriekn throws at that range. Hira-shuriken is easy though. Besides, many of your throws bounce off indicating that its not a proper throw (mostly bo-shuriken), its obviously over-spinning although youre trying no-spin throws from the looks of it.

Sorry to disappoint you but im in martial arts since the age of 5, i know my stuff. Im not really into shuriken-jutsu though.

I mean no offense m8, just some constructive criticism. Keep it up.

  • I'm not even sure I posted any hira shuriken throwing at 17m, I'm sure I posted bo shuriken throwing at 17m and I wasn't even trying to do direct hit...no point with Ikku ryu.

I gladyl accept contructive criticism from other shuriken throwers, especially if they're very good at shuriken throwing.

The fact that you've been doing MA sicne 5 doesn't even matter here, bujinkan isn't for kids.

You've never thrown shuriken and want to correct me?That's just sad...

  • Do you know how I immediately knew you had no idea what you were talking about?

"it's just that many of your throws fail, that indicates that..."

There's no instructor to teach shuriken jutsu, there are several schools where you maybe get to learn how to throw. Different shuriken require different techniques. You're not even supposed to throw shuriken at past 10m, I still do it for experimental purposes.

Besides you post on the wrong video, shuriken go right throw the box...

  • he said no spin throw, suzuki sensei invented that phrase so i doubt this guys been in it too long

  • good throwing man good throwing man good throwing man good throwing man good throwing man good throwing man good throwing man good throwing man good throwing man good throwing man good throwing man good throwing man good throwing man good throwing man GOOD THROWING MAN GOOD THROWINGGOOD THROWING MAN GOOD THROWINGGOOD THROWING MAN GOOD THROWINGGOOD THROWING MAN GOOD THROWINGGOOD THROWING MAN GOOD THROWINGGOOD THROWING MAN GOOD THROWINGGOOD THROWING MAN GOOD THROWINGGOOD THROWING MAN GOO

  • those are senbon retard

  • senbon are naruto shuriken, nothing to do with real shuriken

    Kids these days...

  • where do u get ur shuriken

and also u should put up and instructional video

  • I made mmost of them, bought a few. Back when I started shuriken collecting and throwing I didn't know any good online shops, in the future I'll probably buy from scottbaisdead, he's got great authentic shuriken.

I don't need gay american shuriken, I only want traditional japanese shuriken

I'm not for "teaching on youtube", if you want to learn how to throw shuriken, find a qualified instructor. There's too many things you can't learn from youtube.

  • Awesome XD

  • very good !

  • now hang upside down from a tree and throw shuriken because thats how it's used on the battlefield.

  • hmmm, that gives me bad ideas lol
