Kangin and Kibum were lucky to be casted in those ways, and I find that even though their singing and dancing aren't as up to par with the other members (then again, other members are strong at things, but not as great in others), they do bring a really good feel to Super Junior, and they both are exceptionally talented in other things too (MC, acting). Super Junior really cannot be Super Junior without 13 people...
