Nice vid! I live in Burlington and hunt up by mediapolis Iowa about 15 miles north and why can't I have that small of a group of deer come by I always get like 30 and I can never figure out which buck to shoot lol I usually take the biggest or a wounded one that has a limp would of love to see you take the limp one but hell probably survive! Nice Vid. I live and hunt in NC and where i hunt it almost never snows during deer season. I think i'd like hunting in the snow if i could stand the cold lol.

Thanks! It was bitter cold that weekend for sure! Heater Body Suit is the way to go. Worth the money. I sat all day Sat and did not get cold and shot this one Sunday AM at minus 4. Good luck this year.

Thanks! I have used a few cameras. I prefer the small handheld cameras vs. the bigger bulkier ones. I have had good luck with Sony Handicam's miniDV models and currently use a Panasonic G-330 I think it is. It is a few years old but shoots great footage and the quality is the best I have seen. I am sure the newer ones are even better. Sony is better for low light conditions though. Check eBay. I bought a Sony used for 350 bucks that retailed for 1,000 new. Good deals out there.Good luck

Does Iowa have a normal centerfir rifle season or is it shotgun only

IA has a early Oct and late December muzzleloader season. You can also use a muzzleloader during the shotgun seasons. There are rifle seasons in the SE part of the state in certain counties but only for the special late antlerless seasons in late Jan.

The late season anterless only is the southern two tiers of counties. and you can you nothing less than a .224 caliber rifle
