Really, really good video. I appreciated how you let some of the bosses show all of their attacks. Sometimes it annoys me when super-skilled players kill bosses before they can even attack. I've never played much Gradius, so I usually want to see what the potential of each boss is.

Great vid i can only get to loop 4 i never knew you could do that to neo big core though but if your going to do more psp recording i think you should get a better video camera i wish i can get this far i stop playing through loops a long time ago.

Why there is that "free play" Text and why my hardest difficulty didn't have some boss attacks and didn't have code name heaven's gate`????????

when you play very hard from loop 1 to loop 6 it appears the free text if i'm not mistaken ^_^

and heavens gate appears on loop 2 or higher ^_^

when you play on the psp system you must play on only 1 save data that if you cleared the game on hardest ( if i'm not mistaken on the difficulty ) the stage selection appears ^_^

same thing to the psx version after you clear the game 1 time on hardest just when you begin the first stage after the end of the staff roll press ( R1 - L1 - START - SELECT ) to restart the game then go to the title screen then you will see that the stage selection appeared and the loops ^_^

it is just that you have to do your best suicide moves in any ship on a very tough situations then everyone will be glade to see it just like most pro's do ^_^

but the very good thing from your information's that it will help Gradius fans to get the best hints to beat any boss like i said before ^_^

you mean by the white pixels ( the core barriers ) ?

yes it is a good move to time on the moment when he moves while shooting the lasers and attacking the core too close at the same time ^_^

but if the Gradius advanced players want's to become pro players vs heavens gate they must face him in a farther distance for a true battling skills ^_^

try at least to do that with any ship with only machine gun vs heavens gate and once you beat it with that on hardest loop 5 .. your a pro ^_^

XD same here .. those option hunters appears specially after you get too many power ups in high difficulties and at that moment they appears too much and sometimes in the worst situations ^_^

oh about neo-bigcore ? .... well it is better when you face him with 4 options to use laser because he is not moving like triple core ... triple core attacks all round and vic viper's double level 2 can get rid of them ^_^

so neo-bigcore should get attacked by straight attacks ^_^

well because deltatry's dragon's can still hit you on high loop he moves while the dragons is moving and when it get's destroyed it shoots bullets and the blue capsules don't get any effect which it makes it much harder for you to approach him that's why he is the hardest of them all ^_^

im glade i found this game this past may, on psp for 12 bucks, that only one they had there that day so bought it, in great condition, i never played part 2 or 3rd arcade game, played and own snes version,  graduis gaiden great game too, is one of my fav right next to V my 3rd has to be part 2

Wow... I never let Laser Tetran live long enough to use his uber pwnage attack. And Deltatry, with his invulnerable shots and faster speed must have had you on your toes. Heaven's Gate, from your perspective, seemed really easy, but when I fought him on easiest, he cut me to pieces. All the others were easy, but Heaven's Gate really humbled me. AWESOME GAMEPLAY!

Nice, this level seems like you need to memorize it a lot before you can play it perfectly or maybe you just need a sixth sense for these things.

I need to try out some horizontal shooters though vertical shooters will always be my favourite.

Few notes to you.

-The center core with Death Trouble is called "Parasite core".

-It's not "Trible core" but "Triple core" with the letter "P" not "b".
