Steve hope you feel dumb because it cracks open your fake video.Ill just name a few. 1) your cat would have disappeared had that been an earthquake long before you got your camera.(known fact). 2) earthquakes dont sound like sometype of motor or vibrator strapped to a camera. 3) you kept your balance pretty well considering the magnitude of the quake.4) the object most susceptible to movement (box flap) remained stationary.put dildo down!!!

I live in Japan, and we have been getting regular earthquakes, including 4 in a row from Mt. Fuji. My cat doesn't react to them at all. So NO. It's NOT a known fact that cats will disappear. It depends on the temperament of the cat and how used to earthquakes they are.
