This game had a lot of potential that basically fizzled out. The last half is pretty much slapped together unexplained nonsense. But it's still one of my favorite game series.

For some reason I didn't get the 5 points for winning the first event during the initiation. And I missed the 7 points for talking to the survivor at the inn because he just wouldn't show up.

I recently replayed QFG3 myself, as the Wizard, and hit an interesting snag - when I exported something messed up my Open spell skill level so that when I Import into 4 it comes out 29864. I ran a test with my QFG2VGA character, so I know the problem is definitely in the QFG3 export program. Would you happen to know how to fix this?

It happened to me too, it's a common problem. I don't know how to fix it, but it doesn't hurt anything.

Okay... That cliffhanger was pretty bad... Actually, it felt like the developers didn't know how to end the game so they just put it there.

Well, that isn't true.

Quest for Glory IV was originally the QFG III, but it was SO HARD that they created QFG3 to level up the hero a little more.
