  • @leostack1

Hey Leo , thanks for your post. I am not sure as to the price of the parts of my leg , as my legs are paid for by Gov Insurance. ( Medicare). If you let me know which parts your interested in, I can get you a link to the company web page. In the video I show 4 different feet. Depends on how you plan to use the leg..ie level of activity as to which foot would be best for your dad. You can email me on this site or at waliwz@hotmail.com

    thx

    Frosty

  • how come,u've got all dis parts,i only have my one and one anphibious leg,i reckon u r very wealthy.;))

  • @normanwarrior1

I have all these parts because I have had several legs in my lifetime. I lost my leg in 1984.

Also I dont pay for my legs, they are covered by medicare

  • @mynameisfrosty right,good for u,i really like yr babes..take care.;)

  • yes I can run on the echelon foot.If i was going to be doing a lot of running I might pick a different foot. It is heavy and does not have as good an energy return as some other feet. That being said, it is fine to play softball on or soccer etc. It would not be my first pick for distance running though.

    Hope this helps you out

    Frosty

  • Hi, Can you run on the echelon? Thanks

  • Hey, I appreciate the info. I'm going to go ahead and give the VA the green light and hopefully I'll be able to fit right into it.

  • I'm using the rebel foot and I was looking for the next step. I was trying to get my hands on the biom powerfoot but the VA is being difficult. So they said I can get the echelon. I need to know from someone who has worn it..... Is it heavy?....durability?..... Can it get wet?....how is it on stairs?....what kind of maintance does it need if any?....oh and was that a picture of the wolf you brought in and had it laminated?... Id like to do the same.. diff pic.

  • @cubansoldier84fl Hi

heavy= it is heavy compared to most feet.

durability= I played ice hockey on this foot all last winter with no problems.

maintenance= I have not done any maintenance since i started to use this foot, approx 8 months ago.

can it get wet= i asked a company rep, they told me it ok if its raining out. but not to submerge it..for ex.swimming. that being said i would probably swim with it any way...lol

wolf pic= find any image u like on a child small t shirt and you should be ok

  • @mynameisfrosty

stairs = this is a great foot for uneven ground , stairs etc.

The biggest draw back of this foot is that it takes a while to get use to the shank moving . this effects your balance

and take a while to get it set just right and feel comfortable on this foot. once you do its worth it.

  • Thanks for the demonstration Frosty. I use a pin-lock type but am considering a vacuum type down the road. I appreciate the detail and explanation.
