I think I know exactly what happened. When shifting from second gear into third he accidentally went back into first gear which will pull the car swiftly to the right. It's hard to save it even at that speed.

Looks like an accidental downshift by the way the car nosedives. Suddenly the car is moving much faster than the back wheels, so they lose traction and the car goes sideways. I laugh at all the comments making fun of someone crashing in a straight line... when you say stuff like that you make it VERY clear that you've never drag raced and have no idea how many little things can go wrong. It's not just mashing the throttle and holding the wheel straight.

It doesn't simply "nosedive". You have to look at how the car "shimmies" from the rear and the driver pulls the wheel to the right to correct. This was a track problem, with the ending due to driver inexperience to make a full recovery. If it transferred weight from back to front in a linear movement, then a bad downshift maybe.

I did mishift to 2nd from 3 while doing a 100 which is really bad and it locked my wheels to a lvlv where i almost lost control, but i threw it back in 3rd and got it back in control. but never shifted from 2nd back to 1st when i should shift to 3rd but i think that;s what happened
