  • I am Jordan Sellers, a student in Dr. Strange's EDM 310 class at the University of South Alabama. I think that this is absolutely amazing the things these children are learning. I'll bet that they are able to go home and help their moms and dads figure things out on the computer, and this will be a great asset to them as they get older

Kids I want all of you to keep up the GREAT work and keep working hard in school.

  • I am a student at the University of South Alabama in Dr. Strange’s class. This is a great way to get young students started on computers so they know how to correctly look for information in the world. They learned items that most young kids can not do or wont and that is to share and motivate each other in ways of ideas. Since i have started comment 4 kids I have read a lot about different student age blogs and learned from all of them what they like or what they want to do for fun.

  • I am amaze that your students use and have access to so many types of technology resources. Using technology in your classroom definitely keeps your students engaged in their activities. • Hi! My name is Tiphanie Owens and I am in Dr. Strange's EDM310 Class. I love how your children are using technology in your classroom! Using the Nintendo DS to help children learn problem solving and reading skills is AWESOME. I wish I had been in your class! :) You might already have this game, but Professor Layton also has a lot of math skills in it and it is all about solving problems and would be another great game to use on the Nintendo DS. I think you are a wonderful teacher. Thumbs up!

I love everything about your teaching style and think what your doing with technology in your classroom is amazing. To be honest at first going into this class I wasn’t for a technology based classroom, but after I have been shown how beneficial it is I wouldn’t want to teach any other way!

  • My name is Caitlyn Lord, and I am another one of Dr. Strange's students. I really enjoyed this video. I never realized how much technology could be used in the lower levels of education. I always imagined college or high school students learning what these first graders learned. I am very impressed by the work Ms. Cassidy has done. She has just furthered her students' education more than she will ever be able to measure. Thank you Ms. Cassidy, and all teachers just like you!
