  • sad truth

  • You need too watch ....Poor little rich girl.......this will enlightened you to the coffers Mr. Cooper has....Do you think that this man really has to work?!!!!!!!! He does nothing but watch a teleprompter, and speak to the fat cats who in themselves are pathetic. I will agree, however, there was a time that Anderson did a lot of Journalistic work in other countries, working for humanitarian causes....So what happened!!!!!!

  • @Den12tribe You are either a former politician he's helped bring down, or a closeted, self-loathing, homophobic homosexual. You need help. Cooper has done more with his life than you ever will, including saving lives. He's made his own life for himself, apart from his family, which again, is more than you ever will. On top of all that, he's gorgeous. Stop the jealousy.

  • Does anyone know if the ACT was past in Washington State.

  • @Section7G4 Yes.. at insurance.wa.gov

    consumers/insurancefairconduct

    index.shtml

  • Sun Life Financial is another SCAM company - They will not only deny your claim but if by chance they DO approve you watch out for them they'll try to sue you and get it back!! They don't CARE if you're sick and dying!!! All they care about is MONEY!!!!

  • Hey "Mr.-Keeping-them-honest",

How come we had two months of Tiger Woods' PRIVATE life, but you haven't once asked or mentioned Larry King about fucking his sister-in-law? Keeping THEM honest? Cnn is so hypocritical it's sickening. Every talk show from Jan 1 until the Masters was all about Tiger's pain and stuff that is no one's business....but CNN couldn't shove it down our throats enough. Why the "Larry silence"?

  • aaa has been paying me lost wage pmts. They are now using their doctors, not mine to use scare tactics so they will not have to continue with pmts. I wish i could work. what do you do to fight these huge companies when you have ongoing documented injuries from your own doctor? How will i pay my bills? They are awful

  • your oblivious, insurance companys are nothung but corrupt corporations who do or say anything to deny claims

  • I hate big companies in general. It's not just insurance companies, ladies and gentlemen. It's our entire capitalistic society. Don't you realise--- it's these people who get the laws passed around here. They make me so sick with anger. Why can't they just play fair? It seems like gluttunous bastards make the decisions. They're all too greedy for money. They never care how they get it.

  • @Rainb0wToes0x Couldn't agree more.

  • John Stossel said that every time the government gets involved in an issue by some politicians passing laws, it just backfires and winds up doing more harm than good. The government saying everyone must have insurance is just further testament to this. I hate the fucking insurance companies now. If I saw one of those fucking assholes in a burning building I'd be laughing.

  • "Are you in good hands?"

  • Consolidated Freightways Corporation of Delaware is NOT self-insured because their Surety bond was revoked in 1996 and never reinstated.

  • I have a letter from the Dept. Industrial Relations/Self-insurance plans that indicates they revoked Consolidated Freightways Corporation of Delaware certificate in 1996 and never reinstated it. Sedgwick CMS, thought they were self-insured and therefore play the role as adjustor, now saying they are not liable for not properly checking to see if C.F. was self-insured. Caselaw suggest otherwise!

  • Under the law, policyholders who wish to sue their insurance company must mail written notice of the potential lawsuit to the insurance company and to the Office of the Insurance Commissioner at least 20 days before the lawsuit is to be filed.

  • MSI, Medical services for indigents are suppose to have have doctors who are willing to help those without any money, however doctors are charging $70 for office visits, and denying care because they don't get any money from the fund until 6 months down, too many greedy doctors!

  • Consolidated Freightways Corporation of Delaware is NOT self-insured because their Surety bond was revoked in 1996 and never reinstated. The defense is indicating that United States Fidelity & Guaranty, USF & G is Consolidated Freightways insurer at the time of my accident, this is false. The defense is offering an invalid insurance policy the indicates they have an Endorsement, that is the key work endorsement, you can not get an insurance policy with endorsement if you are not self-insured.

  • If they cannot afford one, should one be provided for them by the government? Where does it end? Flat screen TV's? The right to keep and bear a washer/dryer set? If you do not have a lawnmower, one will be provided for you by an illegal alien? How much can or SHOULD the government do? 4. Is that why when Cuba's leader Fidel Castro, was on his death bed he was flown halfway around the world to get medical care? I'm just sayin. All OF YOUR DEMOCRATS ARE BLIND.

  • n fact, it is against FEDERAL LAW to deny health care to someone who needs it. It is illegal in this country. In addition, there are in nearly every city in America, hospitals who treat patients every day who have no way of paying. There are also thousands of clinics and programs to help those who can't pay catastrophic medical bills. 3. It's inexcusable that some people don't own their own homes. Is a permanent place to live ALSO a fundamental right? Some people don't own a car.

  • In many cases, it may be expensive, but so are a LOT of things in this country that aren't "rights"...like auto insurance or homeowners insurance...which are things we are forced by law to have, but the government doesn't provide.

    2. Well unfortunately, that woman and her baby did die, that's true. However, she was NEVER turned away, she did receive treatment (she just couldn't be saved), and she DID have health care insurance.

  • The Argument Against Idiots: Health Care 1. First of all, I'd like you to point out where that "right" is spelled out in the Constitution? But while you're looking that up, lets just address your "expensive privilege for the few", statement. The fact is, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, 84% of Americans HAVE health insurance. Now my math may be fuzzy, but that seems like-not "the few", but "the many". In fact, the OVERWHELMING majority.

  • There was little damage my car. I was treated for whip lash finally found out I had three bulging disc in my cervical they paid for. I have a $50,000 uninsured motorist rider on my policy. I at this point was offered $1000 for three discs snapped. Now Travelers are saying they are not paying for degenerative disease. I was never treated for this disease nor knew I had it till this auto whiplash happened. Attorneys will not help not enough money and they dont want to be tied up for yrs TRAVELERs

  • No wonder Insurance premiums in Washington has skyrocketed. Tons of frivilous lawsuits, lawyers having a field day with hundres of millions of dollars in fees. R67 was the most EVIL Washington state Referendum in history and the people were stupid in passing it.

  • So, what insurance company do you work for?

  • My husband was injured 4 years ago, I don't think we are any closer to a settlement now than we were when it happened. My husband is in constant pain and it seems the ins. co could care less.

  • Same with me, it's been 3 1/2 years and I haven't been offered a dime. I have medical proof that I was injured (to this day I have lost feeling in 2 of my fingers and discs are now deforming my spine) and their client was under the influence hit me from behind when I was stopped, caused a significant amount of damage to both our cars and they're fighting it. There needs to be laws, end of story.

  • Insurance is the biggest rip-off in history next taxes and they're both perfectly legal. The government refuses to do something about these bullshit ass insurance companies because they have the government in their back pocket....

  • insurance companies are evil

  • Now I`m finding out where are the basic elements for insurance companies picked to finnish social and private insurance system.

Here in Finland the battle with your insurance company can last from 10-15 years.

I think suffering is local, but the huge problem is global.

Perhaps CNN can make a global outlook to this grey kind of business area.

  • Government regulated. These big companies support our politicians.Need I say more.Theives crooks scum.I'd rather trust Saddam then these RAT BASTARDS

Now they want Government regulated blanket health ins.GOD HELP US

  • The banks and government force us to deal with these theiving scum bag crooks everyday.Whats that tell you.HAND IN HAND

Like most people I hate being forced to associate with theives and low life.

  • Ins. companies spend more in court frauding the policy holder and try to make you think it is the other way around.Look at Katrina.Prey on poor, disabled, elderly.Insurance Low Life Scum

  • Absolutely and State Farm is the biggest offender of the Katrina victims, they've been victimized again by their insurance companies. I have no idea how they sleep at night, but apparently they do.

  • to me insurance is legal extortion

  • In case sh*t happens, but if it does, too bad.

  • here in England you can't even get a solictor/lawer to help you fight these criminals.....

  • right on bro"

  • You get insurance just in case something happens and when something happens they resist.

  • Damn this is crazy. I got rear ended by a corporate electricity truck the other day and I am in pain now. I am going to doctors and I got an attorney too... :(

  • I represent injured workers in Pennsylvania and I see this every week in my practice. Some insurers, of course, try to do the right thing, but some do not. My clients can really suffer when they're forced to litigate a workers' comp claim for 9 months, while bills are mounting- all for a legit claim supported by the medical records. Hopefully, stories like this will help raise awareness and eventually, more compliance with simply doing the right thing.

    -Michael W. Cardamone, Esq.

  • R67 will pass. The people here in Washington have spoken.

  • Insurance companies actually pay out the same or slightly more in claims than they take in premiums. They make money by investing their premiums before they have to pay them back out again.

  • Here is the problem with insurance company's scamming the policy holder.

    ANSWER....Government regulated

NOT THAT HARD TO FIGURE OUT BIG BUSINESS SUPPORTS POLITICIANS.. wHO DOES IT BENEFIT

  • It took nearly until my son's 2nd birthday to get the insurance company to pay the legitimate claim to my midwife ... that was unfair and caused economic hardship for her, but none for the greedy insurance company.

  • The big insurance companies are doing EVERYTHING they can to fight R-67, claiming it encourages "frivolous lawsuits!" Well, Farmers Insurance fought us tooth-and-nail on our claim when our house was broken into/burglarized, and it was NOT frivolous. Because they fought us to the end, we nearly lost our house, those fuckers! APPROVE R-67 and STAND UP to Big Insurance!!!
