Poor Dae Gil... Things just went downhill after Un Yeon accepted Song Taeha's heart. All those years trying to find Un Yeon was a waste of time. Seeing Un Yeon happy with Song Taeha and leaving Dae Gil at the end. Felt Betrayed, Dae Gil made a very heartbreaking choice to let Un Yeon go so she could survive and be happy. Just wished the plot would be more about him and Un Yeon, everythings just went downhill, really disappointing.

I am used to be Korean drama fanatic fan back in the 90s. My first love was Winter Sonata. Now (2011) i have got back the momentum .. to fall again with Korean drama.  This film has made me cried and sobbed since the beginning till it end. I just can't have enough of it!! I really like Song Tae-Ha and Kim Hye-Won characters. The 'shyness and silence love' between them made me wish to God if He would send me to the 16s ... but not during the slavery era of course :D LOL.

@bremyluv27 I agree with you. This drama started out blazing hot. Then later on it make you scratch your head in puzzlement since there are so many holes in the story. And then the ending leave you so unsatisfied. The soundtrack however is delicious.

@bremyluv27 i can help explain it. they decided not to go to china because the general couldnt bare to desert his homeland and all those who have died along the way trying to achieve his dream of making it into a better world (ie. Han Soem the big warrior, Tae Ho's teacher, and even Dae Gil who gave his life for them). So they would still be living in Korea. And Dae Gil died but believes he will see his Un-Nyun in the afterlife where they can finally be happy if not together again.

hmm alot of people said this drama is very very good, but when i watched it i didnt feel the same. Some scenes were very good and interesting but some scenes were extremelly boring. I was actually w8ing for daegil and un nyun to get togerther but after watching like 11 episodes i cant see that happening and i heard the ending is sad. Also un nyun is very pretty, but shes quite a boring character. This is my personal opinion, others obviously feel the same. But i must say I really like the OST.

So one day i stumble on this new cable channel call KBS and man now all i watch is Korean dramas. i just bought a dvr so i can record all the drama on there. By far this one is the best i've seen so far. The Slave Hunter is awsome in every way. the leading actress Lee Dae Hae is soo freaking beautiful!!! The one about Korean dramas are the actor and actress tears are soo real, i wonder if they use fake tears drop or what??

I really like Chuno and the storyline is excellent. However I think the acting by the actor who plays Dae-gil is a bit weak. Especially in episode 15, that was pretty poor acting. But he is good most of the time.

This is about one of the best stories/drama so far this year. Keeps you on the edge and wanting to see more. I give it a 5/5 star. The story doesn't drag a lot like other dramas. So it doesn't get boring. Theres always action and unfortunate events happening to everyone.

yes. I agree with most people. I think this song is more evocative of the emotions in chuno than the main OST. I like this song so much more~ I especially like it from 0:58 to 1:14. I like the chorus the best though
