I'm the first among my friends attempting to read the 800 pages of Warhol's diaries. :P And yes he has had relationsips with men, such as Jed Johnson (Who was really sweet & lived with Andy for many years.) and Jon Gould (I never was fond of him.). His last crush was Sam Bolton a photographer who worked at the Factory. He was 19. But that was his personal life and its irrelavant when it all comes down to his art & films. Andy was extraordinary. I love him. (:

He was Catholic, I think he got some of his inspiration for his work in the churches he worshipped in as a kid. The paintings of all the saints surrounded the church interiors, lots of repetitive images of idols.
